What have you done to your MS3 today?

Haha maybe one day. I've read you can keep the car pretty reliable with FI. I'm thinking Jackson racing supercharger over turbo though. What do you guys recommend?

What have i done to my 3? Road debris !

Well, while cleaning my car this past sunday, i noticed my passenger side foglight was broken!!
Lens cracked in a big 'x' shape...bulb shattered...
Stock fog lights, oval style. Dealer says $ 124.00 my cost. Ouch.
Any suggestions on a simple upgrade from stock?
The lenses measure 4.25"w. X 2.25" h.
Thanks all

While my MS3 is at the body shop I contacted Mr. Escalade's insurance company and low and behold they assured me that they were liable for the damage to my car and awarded me a free rental car! Enterprise gave me a choice between a Chevy Aveo or a Pontiac G6 GT. Needless to say, but I am rockin the GT with the nifty slap shifter!(drive2)

Well i have the jackson with the stock pulley and i must say..its a nice bump in power, but you get used to it too quick and leaves you wanting more. If you go supercharged, go with the MP62 setup at mossmotors or get the BEGI series 3 or 4 turbo setup. Both will put you over 200 whp and tune with megasquirt

Washed the car in preparation for the clay bar tomorrow. Bought some painters tape, for the waxing afterwards. And put dragon decal on car.

That reminds me... I bought dragon decals when I was at Deal's Gap in May... gotta get 'em on there after I detail the sucker this weekend.

I swapped my chrome Forge BPV for a black Forge BPV. Bought a used Cobb SRI, which will be installed this weekend. Also bought a ste of 5Zigen FN901R-C's, 18x7.5 +43 with Yokohama S-Drives @ 225/45/18. Slapped those on today, without TPMS for the time being.

No pics of the Forge, but I have pics of the new wheels. (Stock suspension ATM)

(They're not green... I think that was my shirt reflecting off the wheels)

Nice! What kinda cars are you competing against in your region? I'm running DSP but my competition is limited. 2003 Chevy Cavalier on R-comps and a 240SX on street tires. I won this weekend by 1.5 seconds lol. Any chance you'll come to the Tire rack solo championships and run against me?

Competition in the Atlanta region isn't much (a couple of Nissan 200SX SE-R's), but there are some pretty good cars in my home region (Central Carolina) and the South Carolina region that I also run. One guy has a 2004 SRT-4 that is pretty well prepared. It can be frustrating when you run ~25/100 and finish 4/4 or 4/5 in DSP, but it is what it is.

Doubt if I will make it to Lincoln this year, but it looks like SCCA is trying to keep Nationals at this site over the next few years. If thats the case I would like to make it up sometime, but first I have some more work to get the car competitive in DSP (coil-overs, engine tune, etc.).

Have you ran at the nationals site yet? Heard the concrete is pretty grippy.

Ya I've ran there twice already and I am very impressed. The site is excellent. We are going to have tons and tons of space. The concrete is very grippy but it is rough and will eat up tires faster than usual. It looks sandy but if you skid your feet on it you realize its not.

I'm hoping to do ok in DSP this year. I've got a set of coil overs and camber links which are my weekend project, going to order some R-comps, and lightweight rims. Not much for power though. Just an intake and AP but I'm going to get a custom tune soon. Still we do have more power than most cars in our class. I'm just worried about the 09 Cobalt SS thats registered. 260HP and launch control plus their good handling. Not to mention the ECU tune from the factory that is supposed to give 280HP.
