What have you done to your MS3 today?

I installed a pre-loved Forge BPV as my first "performance mod" Saturday morning, along with a set of TWM shifter bushings. On the stock BPV, I never hit 14 lbs of boost on the Dashhawk. On the Forge, I logged a tad over 16 lbs 2-3 times, and was hitting 15 regularly today.

And those TWM bushings? Worth their weight in gold. The shifter does end up feeling a little notchy, but the fact that you can feel with absolute confidence when you get the stick into the gate makes that 2-3 shift nearly flawless. No more grinding.

I was considering working on the side molding removal, but the heavens opened up & ended my mod party just as I finished the shifter bushings. (Here in FL, we don't have real attics, so all of our crap gets stored in the garage, negating the use of the garage as a place to park/wrench on cars. For most folks, anyhow.)

For now, only doing mods that seem more like "fixes" to factory parts that truly suck. I'm sure this will, however, lead to a slippery slope of upgrades & tax refund & company bonus checks spent before I get them... lol

indipendent fogs of sorts... actuly slaved to the parking lights but they stay on durring high beams now. i just tapped the triger wire of the relay into the parking lights.

Gettin' ready for relocation.

Replaced the brake pads on my '06 Mazda 3s, flushed the lines, and changed the oil and filter Saturday. Today is wash and wax day. I'm taking the car to the California next week and leaving it for my son to have on base at 29 Palms. Needs a few coats of Zaino to survive that desert heat! My Speed will have to be ignored this weekend :(

Well never got the bracket for my Cobb intake since I bought it used so I recently ordered a new one from SU but this time I went with the red tube and a red K&N filter to match the rest of my car. Installed it today and it looks sick.

+1 I didn't really notice a big difference when i switched to an aftermarket bpv but when I went back to stock I could tell a great bit of power was lost...

I think the reason I felt such a big difference was because Im running 17.5 psi on a Cobb map so it was probably leaking to atleast 15 psi or less....the first time I got on it after the install I actually said "wow" out loud (drive)

But tomorrow is a different story..I get my ETS 3.25 TMIC (cabpatch)

Installed my ETS 3.25 TMIC. Boost response is way better and boost temps are about 3-5*F cooler than the stocker. Cool to the touch after driving. (cabpatch)

How did it fit? I've heard bad things about the SU one and was wondering if the same was true for the ETS

Here are some pictures...no fitting issues at all!

Made sure the rear boost tube fits good. No binding or stretched here.

BTW..I picked this up from a friend for $400 used.

oh boy

Is there any real usable gain if you get an FMIC over an upgraded TMIC?
if you search you will find extensive argu...., discussions over this subject here on 247. There is a science to it and the research is worthwhile. I took months to pick my upgrade. But have been very happy. The stock one is pretty tiny and anyone who is running higher boost or driving hard should consider one of these asap. imo
