What have you done to your MS3 today?

Installed a heavier shift knob and some LED's (blue, of course) in the console cup holders.
Have others for footwell "mood" lighting but am still working in the execution of that one.
And before you ask, no, no pictures yet.

I thought about taking pics, but they look exactly the same as OEM, just blue with a big ole Ford stamp on them. I had already installed a set of Eibachs last summer but wasn't happy with their ride on the stock dampers.

That, and my car is as dirty as sin right now, (still winter here).

CP-E CAI and HKS BOV along with soon to come 3" turbo back with cat from CP-E. Don't think I will be doing anything the exterior of the car. I like to play incognito....hehe Maybe i might buy some 5 or 6 star chromes and some side skirts for the front and back bumpers.

Also just in, and AWR 88 DM Rear engine mount...

BBrich, did you post some pics of your cupholder LED's yet? Wanting to see them.
(Did you change the dash/radio/instrument colour to blue as well?)

Myself, I still haven't ordered the TWM short shifter,OR the exhaust, OR the all the other mods!!! Kinda low on cash right now!

Correction, I did order a LED Rear Brake Light (54 super bright LED), and a LED (HID look) bulb for my licence plate.

I understand... believe me!!

You're right!! I didn't post any pics, but was hoping to have the footwell lighting in by now too. Been having some problems there.
Here are some quick pics of the cupholder lighting. These were taken quickly and during daylight hours so don't expect them to be the best. And no, I don't think I'll be doing the dashboard/center stack lighting mod... 'Course, I say that now.....? I may change my mind or get braver later... RIGHT!!? (lol)

This next pic is the potentiometer that controls the light output. A good idea IMHO as reflection from whatever is in there, like a water or clear liquid bottle, can get pretty intense. I found that out on the first ride to work @ 4:00AM.

And here's something else I was unable to post until recently. Why, you may ask? Because all we had available out in the country until now was dial-up. F**king DIAL-UP!!! (deadhorse
We finally got DSL again, and I forgot just how much I missed broadband. (nana) (breakn)
Anyway, the Vibrant exhaust.... And sharp eyes will notice the white water pearl metallic MPV parked next to her. That's my subordinate/coworkers. She bought it after I was so happy w/my 3.

Here are some night time pics.
The first is of my stainless steel under blue plastic coffee mug and as you can see, it can be seen easily but doesn't really shine/stand out. It's better in person than this pic would indicate.
The second one is a clear water bottle, label intact. Believe me, in person it's almost too bright which is why I installed the pot on the dash. Like the look and the light, but don't want to be blinded either.

Installed the 70 duro AWR tranny mount and changed my oil at 1,830 miles. Took me a LOT longer than I wanted because of my bruised/cracked rib. I should have invested in a creeper. I took the time to snoop around while the oil was draining. Since I hated getting oil all over the place whenever I changed it on my Mustang, I decided to keep the MS3 as clean as possible and removed the underbody tray that extends from the bumper to the tranny. I definitely think I can do the DP and Cat-back install by myself...prolly will only need a buddy for maybe 15-30 min.

The improvement of the shift action was immediately noticeable in the first 3 shifts. Starting the car was also more emphatic, of course. I did notice more vibration while idling at stoplights, but it's very tolerable; no more rubbery shift feel > a little vibration.

My conclusion: AWR Tranny mount definitely worth the GB price!

Blue leds in cup holder.....I had the same idea, so easy to do. Looks best with a water bottle though.
