What have you done to your MS3 today?

Wuts up guys. I have been working on my MS3 for all this past weekend and finally have my new FMIC installed. Let me tell you, it looks sick. Now that I have my TurboSmart Dual Port BOV installed also the car is benifitting a lot more with the FMIC. I will have pics up soon

I initially had it with the grilled mesh and had the same thought of sleeper look. However, I then wanted to have the satisfaction of seeing the FMIC sitting pretty on the front where everyone can c.
 
I grounded my throttle body and shaved the isolator collars on my shifter.

I should have done the TB ground when i picked up the car - great results - no shuddering and better highway passing.

ALL FREE MODS.

I finally started on the exhaust. Disconnected battery. Removed intercooler again this is down to about seven minutes per. And started on Heat shields on top side. Many emails about purchase of 18x8 wheels. very close.tires also. Continues this weekend. Hey you can fold your mirrors in?

No, it didn't really hurt the tire but I'm getting new tires (Yokohama Parada Spec II's / 225 40 18 / $129 ea) regardless. Stock potenzas are bold after 12k miles (drive2)

I never hit curbs either, I was on my way home from work (tired) and took a turn a little too sharp and boom (boom03) my left passager side wheel apparently smacked the curb pretty damn hard. It's all bent and scatched to hell and I ordered a new one a couple hours after the ordeal because I was depressed from looking at how awfull it looks. When my new rim gets in I'm gonna have my new tires mounted and balanced - This will make me a happy camper again :)

i am now choosing tires. May I inquire please, why did you choose this tire? That sounds like a good price. I bloodied my hands again and cursed some while working underneath the car. note to self; I need a lift

Did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. Also, the guys at Street Unit actually recommended them for being probably the best bang for the buck tire for the MS3. They are a high performance summer tire like the stock potenzas but are much less $$$ and look better.

Note: If you want something with great tread wear these probably aren't the tires for you.

I would suggest just read up on them a little a decide rather or not they'll suit your needs / wants. Yokohama Parada Spec 2

Thanks, Traction and temperature ratings are what i am looking for .Those tires do look good and are nicely rated. good luck with them 077!
