What have you done to your MS3 today?

sort of in a love/hate relationship with this one...

love the way it looks
hate because its taken me 2 days to install it

Ouch!! I am glad that I am not upside down on mine, I only owe about 10k on mine thank goodness! I think you may want to reconsider getting that HOEbalt now. (bolt)

I don't owe anything on the car. They were just only going to give me 15k for the trade in which is unreasonable. Time to shop around and talk to my connections lol.

As for the Cobalt.... They have like a built in dashawk type thing which is nice, Brembos felt solid, strange going from our clutch to one so light with such little travel so it was a bit difficult to drive at first, car didn't feel to accelerate as violently as the MS3 but the speedometer told a different story as I hit 80 when I though I was doing 60 which was probably related to the longer gear ratios in comparison to the MS3. Car felt very solid through some quick bends but the steering input was much harder than the MS3 which gave the car a more connected to the road feeling. Interior was not as bad as many people say it is but I will agree the MS3 interior is nicer. Shifter feels much more solid than ours stock. I'd love to drive it more but I only had a small amount of time.

You just got rid of the flat foot shifting feature on your flash, right? Did you give it a go on the SS?

The Ford dealer wanted to give me $18k for my 08.5 MS3 with 13k on it. I test drove a Fusion Sport. Meh.. car was nice, desperately needed more power..

UHATEIT...car looks gorgeous man. Ya know I have always been a fan of your car bro, but for the love of God, when are you gonna put wheels on it? LOL even your wife's car has aftermarket wheels on it!

thank you dude. I still have the stock wheels painted but with 25mm spacers. I like how they sit almost flush with the spacers on there, makes me feel like I don't need to spend $800 plus on wheels and tires. My wife's wheels she picked out off ebay and used to be on her nice Jetta but when we sold the Jetta we threw them on here. I'd throw them on mine if she'd let me have em :) She'd always liked the 3 sedan and was dying to get one so we finally got one, wish they made them in turbo like the hatchback!

Maybe just put it up for private sale and whatever happens happens. List it at a price you think is fair and give it a while to sell. Meanwhile, part out, get some coin from that and put it towards your slobalt.

Dibs on the shifter bushings because I'm cheap. Also, rofl @ slobalt (although it's faster, it's fun to give him a hard time).

my piece of s*** decided to stop smoking after stocking out. b**** better smoke in front of the dealer tomorrow

I took mine from phoenix to la, then to san diego and back to phoenix and I must say it is the BEST car I've ever taken a road trip in. A little bumpy on the crappy cali road but I can pass whoever I want, whenever I want with little effort and going 80 most of the time I averaged 26 mpg.
Whoo, not me, man. I love my car, but a 1,000 mile road trip on fairly decent interstates convinced me to use the C or the Ram.

I just checked Edmund's for mine -- 15,800 miles, auto-dim mirror, HomeLink and wheel locks: $14,909. The RX-8 wheels, RSB and SRI won't add much, if any.

nice run man. i want to take mine to a track SOO bad.

but anyway.

Purchased a Cobb DP and Cobb inlet today.(dance)

so those combined with the cobb intake should make for better results with the OTS maps. next mod will probably be fuel pump internals

Thought you was selling it man? :)

I've been on full turbo back exhaust and cobb stage 2+ 93 octane for almost a full year now still running OTS maps, and the car still runs great. You should be in good shape!

I bet you money that it won't! They will say it's not smoking for us, and then send the car back to you, and then you will have removed all your parts for no reason. (toilet)
