What have you done to your MS3 today?

not to sound rude.. but is that even tint? I failed my North Carolina inspection for my tints (21%, legal limit here is 35%) I Laughed out loud because my tints are not even dark, I can't imagine 35%.

My local dealers performance division, who sponsors two world challenge vipers, is expanding their shop and bringing it closer to me and it will now Cover MAZDASPEED!!!!! Nissan, Porsche, and Still Vipers of course. This division sells aftermarket parts through the dealers name so they offer protection warranties on parts they sell to you! Best part is the guy who heads up this division works for my mom as an instructor at the track and used to own a speed 6. He is also the same guy who sold me my Tenzos and Cobb SRI for cheap, and gave me a free shift knob! Finally I'll have somewhere to take my car that isn't the monkeys over at Mazda! (drive2)

Dropped the car on H&R Sport Springs. It's still settling but I love it. Rides pretty stiff, little to no float/bounce. Got a sick deal @ mjmautohaus.

I slapped the Tenzo DC-6s and summer rubber on... pics soon to come.
Took her to the dragstip today! First time ever at one and making a pass I got a 14.7. Woot. I did it for fun though... and I was the quickest speed3 out there apparantly. A 2010 was struggling in the 15s and another 07-09 was a little slower than me.

Compared to most yes its light but for me its good enough.

...at least you can finally have front tint in IL.

When I was living there it was no limit in the rear, but no front side window tint at all was allowed...

I have 35% up front and ~20% in the rear now, and will probably be moving back to IL this autumn...I wonder if I can get away with not changing the rears... (dunno)

I bought a set of spark plugs at my local dealer yesterday. They price-matched NAPA to within $.50/plug for the NKG Laser Iridiums, and had them in stock instead of ordering them.

Today, I bought a can of electrical cleaner for the MAF sensor. But I was unable to procure an AEM Dryflow filter for my Cobb SRI locally. So I ordered that from Amazon.

And I figure the MAF sensor & even the spark plugs will stay a little cleaner/newer if I wait until the filter swap to do those items. So my Saturday in the garage has been postponed until I get the danged filter.

Which spin on filter do you use?

Got the spin on oil filter kit today and purchased a filter for the B2300 pick up. Super Tech 3600. I chose this one because it is bigger than the 2.0 filter. I have read that people are using many different filters. Which one are you using?

you need to paint those calipers black now, it would kind of go with the murdered theme

Dropped in a Injen CAI, and a Forge BPV. The wife said it sounded like an old smoker wheezing and coughing, I thought it sounded like I could beat all the other cars on the road!!

I got my Volk Formula lugs in the mail today. The blues were on back order so I went with black. I'm glad I did because for some reason I think blue would've look out of place. Excuse the greasy tires, lol.

super classy. I love it!

Since I couldn't do much else, I decided to at least Dremel out the malformed groove in my CP-E Dashhawk Mount to make it work properly. The whole unit looked as though the mold was made sloppily. I had been led to expect more from CP-E.

Before, it was slightly trapezoidal, skinnier on top than on bottom. This was causing the tab on the mounting plate to need to be forced into the opening...

5 seconds later, I had reversed the trapezoidal effect just slightly, making it just a hair wider on top than on bottom, and also removed about 1mm of material across the top. The mounting plate now pops right in with no issues...

Have decided to leave the motor in it's stock form and sell of all motor based mods. I can only put down so much power through the front wheels in an auto x anyways
