What have you done to your MP3 today???

Has Rota fixed their problems with failing wheels? They have lightweight wheels for cheap. The only way they do that is cast aluminum (weak) and thin spokes. They look nice but depending on what type of driving you plan to do, I'd make sure you research them first.

Quick update on my car. Put the doors back together today. Car is painted, hood and front bumper painted and installed. Headlights buffed, tails painted/smoked and installed. Roof cap test fitted and trimmed. Rear bumper and front DG lip painted. Roof cap, rear bumper and front lip will be installed tomorrow. Hopefully roof cap will buff smooth, otherwise I'll have to have it re-cleared. Should be able to bring it home Sat, maybe tomorrow. Took some teaser pics but don't have time to load them now.

i emailed wheeldude. dude said they never had issues with their wheels failing unless it was in an accident. also assured me that rota wheels go thru many tests

edit: i actually found what they emailed me:

It's extremely rare that we get calls about Rota rims breaking. We sell thousands of wheels every year. When we do get calls its because people have gotten into accidents or have hit something very hard to crack the wheels. The wheel are JWL and VIA stamped which is a industry standard for wheels testing. Our wheels are tested under 690kg of pressure which means that the wheels are super strong.

FS-ZE intake and exhaust cams and 3pc Medival last revision pulleys sitting in my room waiting to be installed. now just need the focus gears and all the gaskets/timing belts to be installed...

Ya 17 sounds about right. I'm doing the whole job myself except the head cleaning/planeing. Did a head gasket on my saab. It was fairly easy. This should be much harder. Also getting some focus cam gears to adjust the cams and dial them back for when boost comes later on.

Fs-ze

So i have done a obdo-obd1 conversion on my crx repin ecu and add wireing for vtec the ecu for the jdm fs-ze should be no different then all you would need was schematics for usdm and jdm to rewire or repin so the wires go to correct pin on ecu hondas do this all the time i am more than sure i can. yes i had a honda toy car fun car 1800lbs and a vtec engine reving @ 8500 rpm freakin rocks but its still a honda cheaply made car noisy and no comfort at all sold it and bought a rotary rx7 my 5th one now looking for a turbo II.

Here ya go. Should get the car monday now. Sideskirts needed a little work, so didn't get painted until today. Rear bumper installed today and roof cap too. Roof cap will prob need more clear coat, but they're gonna buff it and see how it comes out. Sorry for the cell phone pics again. I'll take the final shots with a real digital camera though, don't worry. Will probably do a photo session with the wife's camera too.

17whp. what would it make for a boosted pro? (not that my boost works atm lol)

if the exhaust overlap is reduced. probably 5-7 more on stock boost atleast. maybe more depending on mods.

^^ loving the CF roof cap on the mp3

Picked up a junkyard 626 motor today. Going to tear it down when I have time, and send the block off for machine work. New build.... IT'S GOING DOWN!!!

I can't either. I hope to be able to run over 20 PSI on this build. Right now I run about 16 PSI.

On a side-note, I may change my configuration, so that I can run sequential injection with the E6X.
