Edit: i have to use a metal file to get the notch to fit on the crank shaft....

Oh yeah, I had to do that too. So did several other people now that you mention it. I'd rather it be too small than too large, you can always make the slot bigger.

And yes, Ver 3 for the crank is what they offer on the website now. Ver 2 is what I stayed with and it's a revised ver 1, no design cut into the metal.

Head was finished today, and I'll go check out the machine shop tomorrow to see all the work, and I went to see my transmission pieces this morning at the transmission shop before they started work on it (not sure when that will be ready). Then they start putting things together, and I'll have an ECU ready to drop in by the end of the week.

It sounds like its all coming together. What kind of time frame you think you have before its done?

Hopefully the engine gets turned over on Friday, and that's all dependent on how quick the transmission shop can drop the parts in, with the one caveat being that the LSD needs machining to have the speedo gear properly fit.

You're refering strictly to the difference between ver 2 and 3 of the crank right. Not all of the pullies in general?

Those rims are not my style but sould look good. I am with you 100% on your choice of tires. I swear by them not. I get more milage and traction out of the NeoGens than any other tire i have ran. I used to run proxy 4's too. Post some pics.

Changing my oil and my transmission fluid as we speak. Then it's time to wash! Next weekend will hopefully include a header/mid-pipe installation...

Clay barred now waxing. Did manage to clean up some of the stck wiring in the engine bay earlier.

Left her sitting in the garage all weekend, too much wheel spin with all this rain.

Cleaned up the entire engine bay of a lot of gunk that accumulated over ~120,000 miles. Might as well do it while the engine is out
