What have you done to your Miata today?

Debating if I like the e55 shrouds for the miata in chrome or blacked out

Or the mini graphite

I think mini graphite. Chrome would look good on your car but I think it would help it more if your car had chrome accents(as far as I know). since it doesn't I would go with graphite.

All NAs have a couple accents at least...

I bought an O2 sensor socket and nuts for the konis for the black one. I need to get it back together ASAP.

i ordered another set of those shrouds but i'll be painting them the same black as the housing

That way it won't have the "eyeball" look as bad when they're up

Oh, and and I also test fit a set of Satin Nickle painted shrouds i did for another set of lights just to see what they looked like

but for giggles, it might be interested to paint the reflector housing white with some red veins and do the shroud blue or green but put a red LED as a demon eye in the middle. Full on crazy eyes

Just picked my car up

Water pump gasket is fine, but rather the the coolant lines o and from the turbo went bad

It actually crumbled in Andrews hands as he removed it.

Also the timing was so far advanced he couldn't see the timing mark. So it's back now on the factory timing.

Now it needs a tune even worse. Going to wire in the wideband finally and tune her

typically they do. most of the ones I have seen, but I just never noticed them on his car. maybe I wasn't paying attention.(rolleyes)

blarg, lol. . i've been bombing all the forums forgetting which i did and did not update

Drove it to Lime Rock Park and back this weekend. Managed to pull off a 30.3 mpg, 32.1, and a 31.1 mpg tank.

saw your post on cr.net before i saw it on here too. looks good.
took it to mazfest/sevenstock. it was an awesome event. pics will come later when i have time to upload them.

Kicked some ass at autocross (Miata below me was boosted)
I was able to get a 47.019 during a fun run, but they didnt upload those times. I only did 4 of my 8 fun runs though because I went to hit the brakes and all they did was lock. No matter what amount of pressure, and when heading toward a tire wall its no fun. Also thought I had a coolant leak, but apparently the over flow tank popped open during one of my runs too. lol. Car feels great on the FM Vmaxx's though. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good comfortable daily but still stiff enough for the occasional autocrosser.

Swapped the 6" out for a 5" spring to give me way more axle clearance:

Painted some 1.8L caliper brackets, too. woo!

When is the car going to be done Jess?

You should use 1.8L calipers as well otherwise your pads will wear unevenly.

Trying to figure out where a really small oil leak is coming from... unsuccessfully so far :(

CAS o-ring?

Mine has been leaking oil too. I recently replaced the CAS o-ring and valve cover so I doubt it's that. People on Miata.net say that the rear main seal might be another place that oil leaks but it's easily replaced during a clutch job.
