What have you done to your Miata today?

I just bought a house with a garage and I need some lighting... how much did those setups run you guys if I may ask?

I bought them off of a wrecked trailer sale and got them for $14/ea, including ballasts and bulbs. That said, they typically run in the $30-40 range, last time I looked, for the enclosures I have.

Yesterday I received and installed the NA racer exhaust and high flow cat from Enthuza Car. I'm extremely happy with the sound and I'm very glad I didn't go with the non-resonated version.

Also installed Rennenmetal tow hooks, both front and rear. And, secured my new battery in the trunk with a 4x4 deck tie.

I paid around $250-300 including light bulbs and fixtures. Then I think I spent another $100 or so on wire because I did 4 new runs from the electrical box to my garage for the lights and about a dozen new outlets.

apparently brake pads were overdue...

installed the HP+, changed the oil, rotated tires and gave her a wash. Begi hasn't made the intake yet, and I should be getting the wheels on Monday

Why would you say those pads were overdue?

Because of the brake issues the wear was uneven, that one has more material left than the others. The rear pins also needed to be greased, bad

Autocrossed. Had some competition today, four cars in my class and I came in second. Need to work on my control with the bigger 'charger, it was a kick in the pants but oversteer is all too easy to induce.

Picked up some 949 Racing 6ULs with Bridgestone RE-11s on Saturday and autocrossed them on Sunday.

It's definitely lighter. Most of the weight reduction from the exhaust was from the cat, I'd estimate 5-10lbs of savings overall. It sounds awesome, for the first time the Miata sounds like a real sports car! I'm glad Jason talked me into the resonated version because it's plenty loud for every day driving and has an awesome deep note.

I didn't take any pictures of the wheels, they're super dirty from the autocross I did yesterday.

went to wire up my amp in teh car back to a remote line and come to find out i'm pretty certain it's dead

It's getting juice but nothing comes out. Fail

Also still can't figure why my gauges won't read

got me some track wheels, Konig Re Tracks, 15x7.5. Also autoxed yesterday, got some instruction and was very happy with the results

Wow Pablo, those things look brand new! I thought you said they were used? Whatcha gonna wrap 'em in? And who was it that spun? You or Marc?

My track wheels collect brake dust, not sure what kind of dust you're talking about Phen.

I has a set of A6s I got from Bill, I need to mount those and get hub center rings and lug nuts. I'll be set after that but I'm not using them right away (even though I really really want to), I did great yesterday but I'd like to get a couple more events with daily tires for better car control

Marc was the one who spun out, we were both having issues going from 2nd to 3rd, he got it into 5th once and into 1st when he spun.

They are used, you can see on the inside that tires have been mounted before.

5th gear in an autox? O.O what sort of track were you running?

he wasn't going for 5th, he just missed 3rd. There was a long sweeper followed by a slalom, that car was bouncing off the limiter in 2nd half the course, and was more settled through the slalom on 3rd than on 2nd
