Nom nom nom!

Yeah I like the hardcore one as well. that extra meat is also extra safe. I do think the m2 sport will hold its own though. what are you planning to use your car for? if you plan on doing some more hardcore track events then I would recommend the hard core but if you plan on just doing auto-crossing I think the sports bar is enough. I plan on drifting my car on skid pads and horse thief mile at willow.
Oh I know that the Sport would be plenty for me. I just like the beefier look of the Hardcore.
I am just going to use it for Autox.

well I fixed my horn issue today turns out my car didn't have a horn...... Grabbed a new horn from AutoZone and wired it up. Bam working horn.

I agree with you, the beefier look is great. and I see the hardcore one compared to the sport all. one of my friends has the hardcore and another friend has the sport. It is a drastic difference. You are making me consider getting the hardcore instead.

and seeing it yesterday at our meet compared to the sport I actually looked at them more closely. the sport one is padded and still doesn't look as good as the hardcore. (lol2)
styling aside a thicker roll bar should in theory increase rigidity depending on how its placed which would another great functional benefit to the hardcore.

I always thought of the horn as the most useless thing in a car because a ton of drivers try using a horn to avoid an accident instead of actually driving the car to avoid the accident. and when they realized they probably should do something other thank honk they already wasted time and can no longer avoid the accident.

drove her 744 miles today...home from mid oh...great weekend with the mazda peeps...car ran great down and back. while there we got her on the dyno...she pulled 190 hp and 186 torque @6800, afr's were good @11.8ish, boost was 9 Ibs.

Yeah I think i am going to opt for the Hardcore M2 Single diagonal. (save a little money without the extra diagonal)

Glad to hear you made it home no problem!

I also threw mine on the dyno at Mid-Ohio. I'll post up the chart, but it's... interesting.

Thanks phen...great weekend and the ride home was enjoyable, if you can believe that!
Can't wait to see the EKG again! ;)

Spent a long time trying to figure out why I had developed a nasty squeak in the front-end... well turns out that the coilover sleeves the Previous Owner installed were... inexpensive.

lol holy crap! I've never seen that happen before. I don't think that's what that should look like...

(squinty)

Well... here's the dyno graph for my car. As I've said... the car runs like absolute s***.

now thats a interesting dyno. Im going to venture to say they didn't have a clean signal or does your car really fluctuate 40whp constantly when you are romping on it.
