What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Put my black grill back on the front today. I might go ahead and see if I can buy a used AP. Qwik6 might be here for good afterall.
 
lol. I dont even know why I post this stuff.

But yea. the motor in the vette needs to be either rebuilt or replaced. Not to mention the tranny needs to be pulled and re-done. The guy that sold the car said he would buy it back. But I think my dad would help me get the motor straight. Not to mention I have to keep making payments on the vette for another 4 years on top of this. It is going to be a money pit for sure. And nothing for it is cheap.

It is what it is I guess.

Yea. I did leave some good mods on the car. All I would do is the AP again and try something new on the fmic. not sure if I would mess with meth but I would set boost lower and not go all out at 20psi. I cant forget a rear motor mount. I wont do a front one again since it vibrates way too much.

Exterior wise the only thing missing is the led tails I had on the car.

Qwik, a new Mustang GT would be less hassle...

haha. I would LOVE a new mustang. But would HATE the payments.
 
So...you've sold off all the go fast bits...only to realize now that you want to keep the car?
 
so I tore out the intake, checked all the brackets and what not, and right before I start to install it again I find that the TIP was coming off the turbo. So I pushed it back on, tightened it down with a new clamp, and re-installed the intake. So far everything seems good....she's pulling hard once again :)

Never send good money after bad...if the Vette is that big of a mess then you're better off returning it than putting the $10k you're talking about into it. Unless you want to do that of course, and can afford it. But, you have an out, and you already have a car that is running, so dropping the Vette in favor of something better in the future seems like a good plan.

Is my car out of warranty guys?

I got 33,000 miles on it now and its an 2006? Has the years expired?

If so I got a bunch of stock parts im gonna get rid of probably.

Intake, stock inlet
Intercooler, Stock BOV, Stock charge pipe
Stock second Cat

??? OR should I keep them
 
If your not in the need of some extra cash right now id keep them..

Even if the car is out of warrarnty it will be easier to sell stock.

As for if its out of warranty, it depends when you bought it.

My dad got his OCT 31,2006. and it went out of Warrenty OCT 30th 2006 with 35,000 on it.

According to my dealership it goes out the day before.
 
my dashhawk is here (cabpatch) i just wasnt at work to accept the parcel so i have to wait another hour or so to go to the post office to get it... i know what i'm playing with tomorrow!
