What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Now you're talking Q, I've been wanting to pull an LS2 out of one of those and add the trick flow head, cam and intake kit that delivers the same 550hp and put it in my Trans Am, but my turd MS6 is eating all my money. The reason they're only running 6lb of boost is because the compression ratios on the LS2 is really too high for FI but it appears as if they've added some fueling mods to compensate. Aftermarket parts should be easy to come by and they are very fun to work on(not) they are actually diff to work on but very fun to drive, the LS motors are capable of putting up huge numbers. I'm just glad you've veered off from the gayness that is evo. I love the G8's also but they're still high price wise.

Got my TMIC on last night and changed the oil(was starting to smoke some), still taking it easy due to the cracked diff mount and still don't know what I'm going to do about fixing it. SUX!

The G8's are a nice car. I wouldnt mind having one but there isnt one out there in my price range. There seem to be A LOT of low mileage GTO's out there for under $20k.

I was looking up the vids of the twin turbo gto and it breaks the rear wheels loose at 60mph. . . . . . (five-0)

I would definetly have to put some wide wheels on the back if possible.

thats what im saying... you cant.. you have no room in the back for any meat... well sure if you chop the rear fenders and do a widebody mod on it..

dyamn nice new sig taylor!...

personally not a fan of any pontiac styling... power wise, definitly could be fun.
but all that power comes at a price, id hate to roll in that for my DD since it gets even worse mileage than our cars!

I'd go with the TT GTO, then pick up all the Holden Monaro HSV parts and make it look like it was imported.

Probably 2mpg when you punch it. They do say it drives just like a stock gto until you nail the gas. Then its hold on.

That would be sweet. If I could get a hold of the bumpers.

I always thought this, too.....until I saw my friends cammed C6 Z06 get 30+ on the highway, lol.

That thing is faster 80-140 than my car is 0-60. IDK guys I may end up in jail with this much power. I saw one vid where it breaks the tires loose at 60.

to be fair, that motor is built, and the AT link had mostly stock internals

Hmmm, I just did a quick look online, and I only saw auto trans G8 models. I don't know if they ever made it in 6spd or not, which would be a big disappointment.

It would be a monster for sure, just think, almost twice the power you have now at almost the same weight=beast. Your driving record would prob take a hit if your not careful.

Yes. The on on autotrader has stock internal. It only has the twin turbo kit, full exhaust of course. A stage 3+clutch(i wonder how stiff it is?) And a short shifter. So yea. a good 10k in mods. I'm not sure how much boost is safe for the stock block but I would think it could handle the 6psi I see most running.

Yes. I brought this up to my dad and he just looked at me funny. I told him it had 550 to the wheels and he just shook his head. lol. He said you will either get a ticket or get killed driviing that thing. I might just stick with a stock one with low miles and run and intake, exhaust. Atleast it will be able to put the power down under 60 without spinning through the gears. I drove his vette with a 5.7 and he has intake exhaust. It takes off like a jet. And thats with proably 425-450 crank. I played with him in my speed. I might as well not even been hitting the gas.
