Yanked SF, TIP, HPFP, most of my fmic, egr, throttle body, and 95% of the intake mani.... the bottom PS pump bolt gave me s*** for about 2 hours. I can get a ratchet on it, but with the tools I have, I was unable to turn it (everything is in the way). So... we used a sawzal to chop a 12mm to about 4 inches, and I was able to loosen it that way, but not easily. I know not to remove that bolt. Everything else (except OCC line on bottom) is unclipped, unattached, and out of the way. It was dark out at this point as we got a late start, so we're going to finish it tomorrow.
I'd ask how/what you guys use to loosen that 12mm bolt on the bottom, but I doubt I'll get feedback in time, and I'm too lazy to make a post... I'm getting back in there in the am.
6club is still alive? interesting, glad you could still get tech feedback there, cause 6crew tech has been slow/non-existant lately. so fuel pump is not the culprit, but fuel rail is? best of luck with the used replacement, cause them new ones are ridiculously expensive. ugh
6club is alive and well, haha. I posted the same issue on here when it first occurred, but got no love. It's more that no one has ever seen this particular problem before..... lucky me! Thanks for the luck, I'll sure need it. I'm only going leave the bumper and everything else I can off that I can tomorrow just to test the fuel pressure (i.e. boost leaks galmore, I don't give a s***, won't affect what Im testing anyways). If the idle pressure doesn't return at temp, I'm just going to leave it there, and suck it up and buy a new fuel rail, and hard fuel line, and replace them.
SOOOOOOOOO SICK of this.
