What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Taylor i love it!!!

if you guys stop for a second and think, the metra kit does NOT look like the factory head unit therefore in order for the console to flow and look good you have no choice but to wrap it or paint it all, Taylor did a badass job on wrapping it all, im sure it was time consuming and a PITA.. if you guys notice all the carbon fiber lines flow with eachother.. that takes ALOT of time to get right. good job dude!!!

I agree. If you've worked with that stuff before you know how much of a pain it is. I also like how he got the lines to oppose each other on each panel, not sure if that's a camera trick or if there's more of a definitive side over the other. I'm interested to see how the whole interior comes out, but I like it so far.

Detailed the interior tonight. Clean the carpet and wiped down the front and rear seats with cleaner. Cleaned all the windows. Smells fresh!

Getting up tomorrow to try and fix my exhaust once and for all. Also trying to get rid of all of the annoying squeeks on the inside. This means pulling the entire back seat and sub panel out to fix this squeek that makes me want to shoot myself.

I also need to pull the linkage off the transmission and see if my linkage is bad or not.

well if your linkage isnt bad, let me get the replacement you have, mine is broken/snapped and relying on a lock collar and zipties

Thank you. Yes that is the only reason I wrapped everything to match. I didnt like the idea of painting any of it.

Yes it is a pain to do. A heat gun is the only way to do it. The more of it I did I realized it got easier to do. (wiggle) Its just a great coincidence that everything line up perfect once back together. The only reason the lines are going opposite ways is becase I was running out of vinyl and had to put it on the different direction to wrap the pieces. I ordered some more to do the brushed looking pieces on all the doors.

Oh I forgot about you! Let me make sure if it is the issue or not. It has to be something with the linkage. If not the ones I have on now look like they are in good shape.

Edit: Detailed the car this morning. Put on the paint cleaner and protectant. Shined up the tires. I was going out to take some fresh pics and damn if it didnt rain on me. :(

^ I know right! I am all about the sleeper look.... I tell you the ultimate sleeper is a buick regal. I almost got owned. No details since its illegal to discuss on here. :D

Just my opinion,
but it would have looked better if you lined up the "weave" so it matched on all the different panels.
Looks like it the total opposite on the drink holder lid?

I ran short on the vinyl so I had to run it the opposite way. You can see it on the ash tray cover and the cup hold cover.

I prefer no turbo badges... sleeper FTW!

truth. I just debadged the mazdaspeed6 are replaced it with the mazdaspeed badge from the MSP.

I had bought the decepticon logo for it, but realized how rice it would look on the hood....so, it didn't go.

I like being able to take one badge off and have it look like a sleeper. The good thing is if you don't know what to look for, then you just think it's a normal 6, that is, until you walk away from them or they see you get the rear end loose...

About to pull the trigger on buying the block8head defrost gauge pod and a defi boost gauge. How was the install for those who bought it?
