i inadvertently fixed my car last night... i installed a bnoon bolt, adjusted my boost tubes, ran some carb cleaner in the TB... put back together, it idles smooth and actually feels a lot faster (or more TQ on butt dyno)... the first time i got on it after closing the hood i was like wtf! this is moar awesome... im not backfiring/rumbling/popping after shifts (i have a hks, always in recirc). i honestly dont know what it was, but its running a lot better

and i put another HDR lip on

Fixed a faulty ignition coil, and installed new spark plugs, changed oil, and filter all last weekend. She is running soooooo smooth. And PG inlet OTW!!!

I've had my OCC on for a week now, went to drain it and nothing. Figured I'd have had something in there, espically after a long late night stent in a drive through at idle. There hasn't been any leaks so what gives guys?

i drained mine after about a month and a half, and i only had 4 oz. of liquid.. no need to worry.

I have a strong craving for MORE MODS! I'm thinking RMM next... or maybe a test pipe. Is there any point at all to a new bypass valve? what does "holds boost better than stock" even mean? If I'm not upping the boost, does it do anything besides sound different?

well the stock valve tends to leak, and some have even developed cracks, so getting a Forge for example would be better.

My dad had me looking up a bunch of car audio parts for his vette. Along the way I was checking out some of these new decks they have to offer. I always wanted to keep my stock center dash and radio. But I am tired of the flat hollow sound my stock head unit is putting out. Even with2 amps and all new speakers. It sounds like ass.

I took a dive and bought the metra2 kit from rpmstore last night. My friend was showing me some carbon fiber work he did with the 3m vinyl inside his truck. All I can say I was amazed at how it looked and the quality. I ordered a 12" x 48" piece of vinyl like his off of ebay. When I get the metra face plate I am going to wrap it in this. I will also wrap the entire center section around the shift knob and the cup holders. As well as the controls on the steering wheel. I will wait a couple weeks then buy a new head unit. Right now I am looking at JVC one. It has all the pre-outs I will need to run to the speakers amp and the sub amp.

Chris (subspeed6) has the metra kit and after seeing it in person i really like how it looks, cant wait to see everything wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl, if done carefully its gonna look sick!!!..

:D Its gonna look good. Im not a fan of the way it looks from metra. That grey metallic color. Im gonna do the piece over the glove box to match as well as the piece for the window switches.

dont forget about the one by the steering wheel too!:)

Any of you guys have any aftermarket head unit ideas for our cars? Most ipod adapters won't work w/Sirrius or a newer ipod. This is kinda aggravating, even my little SE-R Spec-V had an aux. I think the Neo would work but $200, dang.
