tossed a crap load of fender washers on. got rid of the ebay intake, and upgraded to a AEM intake. got my gauge pod, and gauges today also

Put the SM OCC on over the w/e, man what a pain for something that doesn't add HP. I do plan on keeping this bad boy for a while so it should be worth it.

aw man. so i was on the way home this afternoon and spotted a silver speed6 headed in the opposite direction. as it went by i noticed it had what looked like..and i kid you not. 20" chrome wheels. if that wasnt enough there was a chrome gas cap. windows were pitch black. it was also slammed. i mean tucking in the front and rear.

I have seen this. He's on Cardomain. Lemme go find him (or I think one that I think you're talking about)

Grrr, I've noticed I have some rubbing when I turn right that occurs once per revolution of the left front wheel... what's a good way to find out what's rubbing? I felt around and it seems like I've got plenty of space everywhere. happens at low and high speeds

anyway, bought a mazdaspeed emblem, a deception emblem, and an MS6 shirt from SU, and scheduled both my car's body repair and tint today

Got a big ass dent from what looks to be a rock or something between the driver windshield / wheel. There are some punk teens around . . . I wan't to say they threw a rock at it but I don't know. The dent is deep / paint chipped so if I hit it while driving I sure as hell would have noticed.

I don't even give a s*** about how the car looks anymore. I go the extra mile taking care of it and i just get slapped in the face even harder. I see other cars that park 2 inches from other people and they don't have a single damn nick. No more washes, waxes, or my time.

Also looked at my oil and when I pull out the dipstick it seems to have a tinge of black. But maybe its because there was a thick glob at the end so it may have just been more dense in that area. Wiped it on a white napkin and it wasn't black. But last oil change I was told there was sludge. I always do synthetic every 3-4K. 24K miles . . .

so what's the deal with 5W-40 weight oil? I looked at an autoparts store and found 5W-30 and 10W-40 but no 5W-40... is it not a common weight? I want to be proactive about any turbo smoking... havent had any smoking yet, but might as well go heavier.

Go to Wal-Mart and pick up Rotella T synthetic 5w-40. It's cheap and has shown to be much better at holding its properties throughout the 3,000+ oil life cycle.

not worth going for something good like royal purple? will Rotella last 5000-7500 mile cycles? I don't change oil every 3000 miles.
