Grill looks good.

Finished up all the piping today. The engine bay part is complete. Ran the battery cables through the firewall and got it to the rear drivers door. Thats as far as I got today. After 12 hours of working on it straight. this is very tedious. So far 15 hours. Tomorrow I will finish running the power cables to the trunk and mounting and hooking up the battery. this will take a long time too. Hope to have this thing running by late in the afternoon.

Where did you run it, down the side under the sills/carpet?
How are you going to mount it in the trunk?

I can't wait for this deployment to be over damn it.

forgot to answer your questions. I ran it through the firewall and down the side along the edge or the carpet. Just under the plastic panels along the sills.

Here is how I mounted my fuses for the power wires being ran to the trunk. As far as mounting the battery I will make a frame for it to sit in on the bottom and the just screw it to the floor.

I'll be on the look out for the PM.(cabpatch)

Looking good taylor.. theres no way you can get the air filter in front of the fuse box???.. i just think that with it being way back their like it is its going to be sucking in hotter air, u probably would have to get a smaller cone shape but colder air would be better...

Its possible. I dont think it will make much of a difference on temps though. I had the smaller filter that came with the nano on there for a while when I cleaned the K&N filter. Come to find out where all my oil sits in my pipes. there was dirt on that as well,. I wouldnt be surprised if that dirt it sucked in messed up my turbo. It doesnt sound like it has a smooth spool up anymore like it did. So back with the K&N. (cabpatch)

Dreamed about driving her. I need to do that so badly, but have to wait a bit longer.

For those of you with the AutoEXE replica splitter, do you know how far out in front of the lower bumper it extends? If someone could measure it for me I would appreciate it. I want to get one but if I'm going to scrape it leaving my driveway all the time there wouldn't be much point. I'm going to take some measurements of how much clearance I have when I get back.

got to drive the ms6 on the interstate today.... WOW this thing just wants to keep going. i kept it at 75 but it just felt like it wanted moar, where as the 6i is comfortable with going 75.

Stalled it once because i was an idiot and kept it in first as a long light (i get nervous at busy intersections and my right leg started to shake and when it was time to go i just let it out to fast.)

i just need to learn what gear i need to be in for what speeds when im downshifting and ill be good, first gear starts are getting much easier for me and reverse is the easiest for me (ive never stalled it in reverse).

lol yeah now his is one of a kind with that new setup (first) :)

if all goes well and i switch over to a Blow thru MAF mine wont even look like that or be routed the same way..

with the wire tuck i plan on running the intercooler piping up to the turbo from behind the motor(of couse itll be wrapped to keep everything from melting).. basically the outlet of the hot side is going to be upside down from the stock K04 position..

another one of those conversions i cant do without looking at my spedo... the MS6 is amazing on the highway... it wants to go much moar than 75 haha mine wants to keep going further than i do, i've yet to have enough balls to hit the speed limiter though

i had mine on a small road trip on friday/saturday, then had a nice cruise with some friends today

tomorrow my wheels finally go on!!! pictures to come(wiggle)

Worked on the car another 10 hours today. Finished up the battery relocation and adjusted some things under the hood. Re-ran a power wire to my amp under the seat. Cranked the car up to let it idle for a minute. Saw some smoke near the turbo. the silicon coupler was resting on the manifold and burning. so adjusted that away from it. Havent drove the car yet but will in the moring. I can say one thing. Throttle response is instant now. There is no more of that lag feeling when you hit the gas. As soon as you hit it the engine raises. I'll keep you guys posted.

One thing I have noticed is when I cut the car off there is a loud thump almost like a pop from the speakers.
