What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

yea its defin different. i think i might be trading my forge in soon for an HKS valve. just to change it up

"different" is an understatement imho. would drive my absolutely nuts after only a few months.
i have the TS BPV, and the typical PSSHhhhh, is much more appealing to me. :)

^^^ true, most people can simply get used to such things... i guess ultimately its a preference thing for me, the ping just isnt natural sounding for an automobile for me...hehe

my fog lights work all the time now, they no longer work with the factory system and are on until the car shuts off

you used an "add-a-circuit"? i used to run that, but got worried about the battery drain since it took much longer to auto turn-off than the rest of the lights...

chris and steve thanks for the positive outlook on the spring install. kind of makes me feel better about the phone call to rpm regarding the purchase that i am about to make as soon as i get a break here at work lol.

i has the RPM Streets too, simple install with the right tools and so far i am absolutely loving how they handle... ima prolly be having to get new shocks too in 10k miles or so... im at 39k now. *crosses fingers*

Got my car back from the dealership today. Window, and windshield look good, and it's quiet on the highway. The doors, black out trim, and paint look good also. Only concern is I found something else that was messed up that I didn't notice, so back to the insurance about getting that fixed also. The handle you pull on to shut the door has huge gouges in it. Gotta wait at least a week before I can wax, and 10 days before I can use the carwash (sad1) But I am glad to have the car back!

oh ffs, after two posts still forgot to add my own "what i did..."!! lol.
Last weekend i installed the Flex Innovations prototype grounding kit they sent me.
still waiting on fitment corrections and another length to tranny... plus i cant find a terminal block for 4 connections for the life of me!

also used rainX before our last rains, works great! beads up and slides away...

AND, my laundry list for this next weekend has refreshed:
top end OCC install
HD Lip
Resonators delete
HID height adjustments
grounding kit adjustments
DSC chip

man, my conservative build list seems to have hardly been changed despite the things i've done since owning this car... lol... needs more cash yo!

After owning both, the SU/Turbosmart BPV is a much nicer feel over the Forge. I'm glad I made the switch when I did. Much less to worry about, simple design, and not an obnoxious sound when shifting.

i didnt order my RPM street springs or sharkfin antenna beacuse my shipping quote from RPM was waay to much

looking for a canadian dealer for the H&R springs now

I bought my shark fin antenna off of RPM in a group buy, they sent it as a "gift" I didn't get charged on duty or anything, shipping wasn't expensive either

Took my baby through the wash and saw a few cool cars. Saw an aston martin. Think it was a vantage but im not too familiar with the models. Also saw a carrera S and a lotus elise. My mazda felt right at home in the midst of them. Aside from the aston I think the speed was the best looking one out there !

130 bucks of shipping lol??? I had an entire catback exhaust shipped for 30 bucks.

i am surprised your car even started with that hose off the intake manifold. When mine came off it stalled out everytime i started it.

Yea. Apparently I have been running like this for 2 months. Still am. Im waiting to pull off the IM and then port that bad boy. Then find a new pcv valve that is 1/2" to 1/2" instead of one side 3/8". Becuase thats the side thats always loose and pops off.

maybe thats why yours still runs because the pcv is still in place there. when mine popped off it came right off the intake manifold so it was a quite a large leak. the pcv would reduce that some so it wouldn't be quite as large. but yeah get that fixed.

Are there any more options as far as pcv valves go? What ever happened to ptps fix. Where they had a block off plate where it draws from the crank case and then has a baffled valve cover?

ok.. so i think that it is a rust spot on my door.. i dont get it.. its a 2007.. how the hell did rust get on the door where theres not even a chip. Would a bumper to bumper warranty cover this??.. if not how should i go about fixing this?

Shipping for the CPE Rear Diff Mount (15lbs) was quoted to me at $70.00 this morning. :( Unless there's someone who carries that in Canada, I'll have to ship it to a buddy who will be visiting next month.

You should have some sort of perforation warranty, I would think. It might or might not be covered under that, sometimes they can be very sticky about their requirements. But it may fall under bumper to bumper as well.

yay you canadians should ship to the US and then get it shipped from there...
i believe there are actually mediator shipping methods, companies that actually do that.

btw RPM Streets are not 260/280... back when, i got mine for $220!!! looks like they are listed at $230 now...

just went in and got the tires rotated and oil changed.. i asked them about the rust and they said it is not covered and to go to their body shop.. for some reason i really think it should be covered.
