What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

steve, it's funny that you say that. The new one is a Wix, and I had to literally crush the final 3 mm of filter for the door to shut.

Guess I should have bought the OEM one then. Live and learn.

Exactly what I had to do. I'll just let it ride til spring and pick up another OEM one. They definitely get dirty, and not in the way you can just blow it out.

Packaged up my MSCAI and got it ready to ship out to a member. Got sideways a few times and loved the drive home while others freaked out.

Yeah, I was next to a pickup at a light today, when it went green I motored off somewhat quickly (too many pu truck drivers around here gun it and get sideways). No spinning or drama on my part, I just moved along. Got about 1/2 mile ahead of him and went to change lanes, he was flashing his lights at me. Whatever man.

VRMS6, can they actually void a warr based on this? i mean seriously, they would void us because of reflectors or is it the mm? i know the powersports dealership i work for would never ever void for reflectors, but we are pretty mod freindly too.

Well I can check up on that as well. Im probably going to take my car in soon. Got this pesky P0441 Evap solenoid issue. Gas cap looks clean so maybe the sensor is failing ??? Sigh what a PITA.

So, those of you that replaced the cabin filter, how about sharing some part numbers? I've been looking for one of these and haven't found an aftermarket version...about ready to go to the dealer, mine probably was never changed by the original owner from the looks of it.

Yeah this is going to suck though. I have school coming up and crap to do on saturday. Have to put the stock airbox back in, replace the tmic / bpv, midpipe . . .

Im really tempted to just take it in with my intake. Thats the biggest pain.

I had the code when I just got the car. They said it was the gas cap. Hasn't come on until now at 20K.

Any idea how long it takes to replace those valves??

I installed my towerII LED parking lights a few days back along with some single LED frosted lense lights for my license plate, I really like the output of the lights. I have also installed a MazdaSpeed front mask to protect it from rock chips and salt rocks. Looks good. Ill see how that goes, I didnt want to spend 600 on a clear 3m bra until I get my hood repainted along with the bumper.

Walked out to my car this morning to realize the side lip was sagin. They did not hold like I thought they would. So I took them off. Side window visors were coming off from around the edges. So I took those off. Got to lookin at the HD lip and it was being pulled back on the side I guess from the air pulling back on it. took that off. So now my car pretty much looks stock besides the fact of the wheels, springs, and front grill.

Took my MS6 to the shop to get a trans leak fixed and they told me the job is going to be in excess of $2100, as it means a full transmission rebuild...FML

Blacked out my front M a few weeks ago. Just smoked my side reflectors yesterday in the cold. Wasn't pretty painting but came out pretty nice.

Flash made the orange appear a little brighter than it looks during the day.

didnt work on my car today but I did manage to draw up templates for the rally armor flaps I am selling to a guy. Packaged them up.

Put the stock wheels back on with all-season tires. Had to shovel snow to give myself room to work.
