Probably a 6000k to match those. Looks good so far.

4300-4500k is stock. I am running the DDM D2S bulbs at 6000k and I like those so far. If you want to get the good stuff, you'll have to get some Osram bulbs from overseas, which are 5000-6000k depending on where you look. I've not done the 55w conversion, so I don't know exactly what's involved. You may have to tap a line from the battery to the ballasts for that.

The TSX projectors on even the stock bulbs would be a huge upgrade from what I hear. Too bad ya didn't have them while you had the lights cracked open.

It wasnt hard at all to pull the headlights apart and put them back together. Wish there was a made kit for the swap.

Made an appointment with my local non-Speed dealer to look at the problem with my Smart Key. Messed with it today and when I press the area over the battery together it works perfectly. I am hoping they will just replace it.

As I am close to 50k, anyone want to know my mods once I pass the magic mark? Steve, you already know most so you don't count!

well i havent done any thing to my car since i dont have one.....yet, BUT..... im going home 2morrow and i told my dad i was looking at on ans he said we will go by the dealer sometime this week.....so maybe by the this time next week.....i will be a proud ower of a MS6

Dealer visit this morning, they agreed the key is bad so ordered a new one. Have to take both my existing keys in for programming when the new one arrives (they say) so looks like it will be another couple of days for the AP install. I know they can program a new key with two existing ones without hooking up to their machine, but just in case...

Just got back from the junkyard where I scored a set of lightly-used Mazda 6 all-weather mats. $21.20 plus carrying the darn heavy things from the back of the lot. They need a good hard scrubbing, but the nubs on the back look brand new. It was a wagon I got them out of, sucks to see as it was a manual car. Although, some genius put a Savanna AWD badge on the back.
