What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Today I am going to remove the MazdaSpeed6 badge.

Tomorrow(hopefully) I am going to do the FMIC and Eibach Pro Kit.

Installed my new Rotora front rotors and pads. Haven't bedded in yet, have to check their site for recomendations as all my knowledge on this is from the old days of asbestos-laden pads and shoes (when you could get away without turning the rotors if you knew how to properly bed in).

Bedded in the new brakes using StopTech's method. Rotora's site is down for me. Have a good two-lane country road nearby to do this, just had to work around people going to work. I'm glad I don't have to do that.

Installed my new box for my 15 last night into this morning. Got my thump back

Anything special about the box? Pics?

I'm still considering an infinite baffle 8" to upgrade under the rear deck to keep the stock look.

Let us know how those work out. I was looking at Stoptech rotors with Hawk Ceramic pads.

I think you misunderstood me, I have the Rotora rotors and ceramic pads. It's just their website won't open so I couldn't use their recommended bedding procedure, hence the StopTech reference.

No, I realized that, but I'm still interested in the feedback on the rotors and pads. I just mentioned that I was looking at the Stoptech rotors instead of Rotoras.

Gotcha. Final thoughts will have to wait as I need to bleed the brakes again to get my pedal stiffer (for some reason I haven't been able to get it as hard as it was from the factory). First impressions are good, the car stops hard with them. Using that bedding procedure was an eye-opener, had a lot of smoke from the first couple of stops (might have been chemical residue from when I cleaned the rotors after installing them). There was more smoke later as well from the pads.

Very good.

My SU blackout rear reflectors came in today. I hope to get to removing the exhaust tips and painting those this weekend too.

Pics of the stereo this weekend.

Here is a pic of the meth kit installed :)

in my ever changing mod status..
for a little fun in my "demodded" mode i decided to get a turboxs testpipe (which came in today) and a forge BPV (picking it up tomorrow)

hopefully ill get a chance to throw these things on soon.

activated under wot? im not a meth addict lol.

Activated under any throttle condition as long as it hits the set boost starting point. In my case is 5psi. With a full spray at 15psi. It is slowly increased up to the point of full spray and is adjustable via a controller I have mounted by my steering wheel. Got 20% off on this on a GB. Saved over 100 bucks.

Joined the ranks of Magnaflow owners with melted valences. The left muffler shifted somehow, I noticed the problem today. Exhaust has been on the car maybe a year now so not sure why it did this. Not horrible but of course I notice it.

Man I should have bought that 100 dollar meth kit lol. How big of a difference did it make Qwik??

Waited a couple days to post this to make sure it wasn't in my head but I can feel the royal purple difference. Switched from mobil 1 syn to royal purple and it feels much smoother / car runs better.

It wasn't 100 dollars. It came out to be around 550 but I got like 120 off so it was around 430. Power wise there is no difference at all. Just there to bring down bat's and help keep the intake and runners clean. The devils brew is a 51/49 mix of water/meth so its not flamable. 1 gallon last me 2 weeks.

I know. wtf is up with this. I can't get a good adjustment on my exhaust. The right side is centered and sitcking out perfect. While the passenger side is pushed in and shifted to the left. i have been uder the car 2 times to get it straight but it just goes right back to it. I havent had a problem with it melting the plasstic though.

I'm still searching for some oval tips to have welded on. Once I get those I'll probably buy a replacement valence.
