What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I'll start.

Installed 6000k HID fogs and new D2S bulbs, reinstalled my turbo inlet and BPV after I got it back from the dealer.

HIDs (for those of you who haven't seen my thread)

OOh! I spy a Millenia in the background. And are those Speed6 wheels on it? Had an S once myself, nice car.

Didn't do anything today, was going to go back to the body shop and get a revised estimate for work to include the rear bumper scratch from before (my wife told me to go ahead and get it all done at once, I love her!). However I am stuck waiting on delivery of my new laptop and waiting on news from the hospital (gonna be a grandfather soon).

Yep, those are my MS6 wheels with the A/S tires on. I have my summers on a second set, and am in the process of repainting the Millenia wheels because they were chipping badly on the finish. It's an S with the ivory/black interior, which was limited to 500 units total. Nice car, just getting up there in miles.

installed a ATP bcd and HKS bpv (the one without the fins)... i dont know if my old bpv was leaking but my throttle response feels a lot snappier.. and no cut with a 21psi spike holing at 18psi

swapped out the stock plugs for denso ITV22s. @37,000 figured it was about time.

Drained and flushed the engine oil as well as transmission, PTO, and rear differential grease. I also attempted to fix a couple of exhaust leaks on my Corksport CBE. All but one are fixed. The gaskets Corksport included are too thin and don't compensate for when the exhaust heats up and the flanges flex. I also removed the exhaust outlet bumper protectors.

On the inside, I took 10 minutes and plugged in/wired my GROM iPhone adapter. Literally 10 minutes of work to never have to switch a CD again. Awesome.

I did the best mod in the world... Got rid of the most annoying sound evar!!!! I finally got rid of the seatbelt minder chime.........

Take it to the dealer and have them remove it with the MDS software.

In this case I am the dealer...... I have been a service writer for 10 years, just transferred to a Mazda dealership. Borrowed the MDS unit and reset the chime... FYI most dealers will not due this due to a misinformed belief that they are disconnecting a safety item on the car.....

Ah, that's awesome! I have a favor to ask of you then, you got PM!

Curb rashed my rear passengers side wheel. Thats what I get for being too careful and parking as close to the curb as possible.

well i washed mine today..after the snow we had a few days back left it dirty, since they put sand and salt down on our road... came out nice. steve those HID's look nice!!!!!!

second thing i did today...

sent an email to therpmstore to get a new fog light bulb since mine decided it did not want to stay illuminated.

Changed oil/filter and topped off all fluids. Checked/adjusted tire pressure (no one did it while I was gone so they were low).
