What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I install the Flex Innovations Grounding Kit yesterday (pics over in the How To). It came out nice. I cannot tell if there are any benefits at the moment. I also partially installed my boost gauge. I took 45 minutes to get the tube through the firewall. I installed blockhead's vent pod. I still need to wire it. I have seen multiple suggestions on multiple boards but I am still confused about what to wire to to get what I want - White in the day and Amber at night.

wow, its pretty cool to see the actual piece and see the differences from stock because ive never seen that piece from Autoexe in person. Lol at the clamp being stuck against the block, i remember doing that to myself and having a b**** of a time getting it back off when i switched to the cp-e FMIC back in 07'

notice any performance gains??

Have not really got on it. It does seem to accelerate easier like it seems like it wants to go with less of a push on the pedal and I have noticed is the car seems to run smoother and As of right now My exhaust tips dont rattle sometimes against the factory tips. I also noticed for some reason maybe its in my head I dont feel as much vibration from when I had my exhaust and TP installed. But then again could just be I need to drive it more.

I still have to install my Corksport Exhaust hanger bushings. But Im gonna wait to see if it rattles again first.

EDIT: Also I can tell you at part where it meets the intercooler its way bigger on the inside and much smoother that might help with the response and stuff

Didnt do anything to my car today. But I did fix my friends wrx. (dance)

It kept idling low and he took me for a drive and it kept cutting off. Hell it cut off on the freeway and wouldnt start back up. It didnt have much power. So we took it back to his house. I said let me try this for starters. Disconnect the battery. I took maf cleaner to the sensor. Put it back on and connected the battery. The car runs like a charm now. I was surprised how somethin so simply could fix the car... oh it had had a lot more cowbell afterwards!! He said it dynoed 325 at the wheels and I believe him .I didnt think it was scary fast. But after getting back in the speed6 and nailing it through the gears I realized i was exactly near his 325 awhp. Though I would have the advantage by far on the FFS. You think our clutches are bad? try driving a wrx.

What did I do? Freeked out with a CEL, 3 codes I got :((argh).

Code 420: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
)Code 442: Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak
Code 741: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off
(pissed)(bang)

Any suggestions? 64,000 kms, Cobb SRI/TIP and Forge BPV.

420 - one or both O2 sensors is probably bad, cat could be bad. 442, check your gas cap and the gasket around it, 741 - manual tranny's don't have torque converters, you got me fooled.

havent done a thing but enjoy it! just about 800KM in a 24 hour span, where i've finally reached my vacation destination..

now i'm situated in the middle of some of the best driving roads in eastren canada (the cabot trail in cape breton, nova scotia)

i'll be busy trying to drive a bit of the trail, and with my brothers wedding, and am lacking the internet (tethering my netbook with my blackberry ftw!) so my appearance here will be limited this week!

well today i put new shoes on my baby. 18x8.5 5zigen fno1r+c in bronze. i have fallen in love with my car once again.

Front upper tower bars...
Do the ones for a regular 6 fit the speed6?
just curious?

A reg. 6 bar will fit if the TMIC is removed. Otherwise, you'll have to get either the Corksport or AutoExe bar to fit with the TMIC in place.

car is all stock besides wheels and coil overs.
should be trading her in on a subie this weekend hopefully

any tips on...?
A) getting the rear shocks out... I paid a shop to do it last time, the quoted me 2 hrs and it took them 6 hrs or something. i need these things off.
B) not breaking my damn lug key... waiting for the new one to show up as we speak. Muteki lug key has broken 3 times, cant afford (time-wise) for it to break again.

Thanks if you guys have any tips.
