Glad u liking it bro. I posted a similar question on your member rides thread. Disregard it since u answered here, lol
ugh.. the wait for the parts is killing me.. i want Blow thru now!!!!!!!
(2thumbs)
you shall have the force soon my friend, lol(yippy)
boosted- What MAF housing will you be using?
p.s.- Should I do a how-to on battery relocation and blow through?![]()
thanks for the heads up that was actually were i was gonna go. but found a friend to borrow one from.harbor freight in robinson sells them cheap
its because of that i use an unnecessary amount of jack stands and back ups. my garage isnt attached to my house so if my car falls, no one knows but me. kinda scary. Will never buy a jack stand from them again, had one fail while I was under the car, luckily I had the floor jack right underneath that side as a fail-safe.

Yes.
What's the advantage of relocating the battery (don't say 50/50...my Miata is 50/50 lol) & what exactly is this blow by business?
Wow, glad you're okay man. Fail as it got crushed?? How many tons was the jack stand rated for? I got a nice 3 ton jack/stands/creeper on sale at sears a couple months back for $100 (from $150)... good deal, and I feel pretty safe under there. I jack the car dead center in the front, put the stands in, and just lower it barely enough that the weight is 95% on the stands. That way, if either side failed, it wouldn't flop. It's a good thing for you that you had the jack on the side that failed. That's some scary stuff. Definitely worth spending a few extra bucks when it comes to life safety stuff!!

i had a set of craftsman stands fail on me while holding up the front end of a 86 cutlass with no drivetrain. the welds split, and they spread like a 17yo at a kegger.
funny thing was i brought them back since they were a craftsman. and i guess there not covered under the lifetime warranty thing. only there hand tools are. so i raised a stink, got the manager involved, and got me a new set of stands. lol. ive probably had that 2nd set a solid 8 years now, and havent had a problem with them. i think the 1st set was just janky.

lol.. weight distribution.. less weight in the front end, cleaner looking engine bay, more room to make a bigger Intake, better performance gains from the bigger intake.. the list goes on.. as for the Blow Thru instead of a Draw Thru system..

i mean those 2 sites i just googled really quickly for you, but if you read a few pages back, good info was posted.. im sure Taylor will do a write up on it if he has time and ill add to that write up once i finish up my Blow Thru setup

its true, im confident we have PN's just need you guys to post up and make it easier to figure out.
So basically this is so you can VTA instead of recirc'ing....do you need to relocate the battery to the trunk to do this for space up front or no?
Which is better for the Speed6? My Miata is runs recirc and I don't mind it...lol.
I'm assuming the MS6 recircs stock.
Like I say. Blow thru is well worth it. I think the car runs so much better with recirc??. Plus boost leeks wont mess up the fuel trims with this setup. I had a new civic si play with me today. Lets just say it was a land slide. An I am not saying who.![]()
MS6 is recirc stock
i think it runs better in VTA on Draw Thru but thats just me (most people would argu that it doesnt).. it definetly will run better once its Blow Thru, thats proven.
you dont need to relocate the battery to do this, as you will see with my new setup but u will need to have a Custom FMIC setup to do it..
more information will be posted about this in the coming weeks so stay tuned..
