What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

There's a huge misconception on the suspensions between the 6 and MS6. The parts interchange, but the spring rates and damping characteristics are very different.

Detailed my car this afternoon. It hasnt rained all week and my car has been dirty. And son of a b*** if it didnt rain. :(

Enough discussion, heres a pic:

Not a fan of the slammed look. Wheels look tiny with it like that. I'd put it up about a half inch higher and I think it would be a great look IMO.

Saturday, threw the car up on jacks, removed wheels, calipers, pads, and rotors.
Not easy on a car that has been sitting outside in the elements for 8 months.
Rotors were so rusted on, the mounting screws were completely fused... had to bore them out. Got them turned, threw everything back on, as well as put new pads on, HAWK HPS.

Also, replaced the rear left axle seal, was MUCH easier than i thought it was gonna be.
I assumed 2+ hrs, it took us less than 1 hr. Then changed out the rear diff gear oil. Went without a hitch! Driving smooth, EXCEPT for a small issue with the brakes... argh. posting a seperate thread to inquire about this...

Today i drove about 1.5 hrs to Cal Speedway in Fontana for a Time Attack event by Redline.
Was really fun, pretty busy and my first time at that speedway, was HUGE!!! Also was there to help plan the layout for our big MAZFEST event. Cant wait!

Well let me just say that the trunk cargo net is pretty handy but if i cant find the screws then its yours. Pm me in a couple of days.

Anyone else know where i can get the screws?

try an OEM online store like MazdaStuff.com. Or just use a home depot remedy like i did. Metal hooks, bend em closed around the net hoops, then open then other end a bit to hook into the mounting holes.

I think part of that reason is cause he has stock offset too, wheels are super sunk and look even more so with the offset.
If he uses small spacers like 5-10mm and rolls the rear lip, he could get away with close to flush while still tucking tire and still perform pretty well!

I'm a fan of having a lowered car with equal wheelgap around the edge of the tire. Slammed/tucked doesn't do anything for me.

To each his own. Not a bad thing at all. Don't need to be hatin' on my style, yo!

lol no ones hatin'. i also have equal wheel gap, just barely under 2 finger gap using the RPM streets.
For me, perfect balance of handling versus looks and practicality.

I also love going more flush as i am just about there with the 15mm pro-spacers.
Show car wise, id love to have a slammed car for that. :D for a DD, i just simply cant.
Id prolly destroy bumper/exhaust all the time! haha

I know running the H&Rs in MI with the weather, it wasn't the brightest idea. If I was going to do it all over again, I'd either run the RPMs or a set of AutoExes and be done with it.

To me, these cars just need to lose the 4x4 look and to sit without a rake. That part annoys me the most. I hate the stance of my car now, after having a set of springs on it.
