What have you done to your Mazda3 today?

Really? Then they might be Next Mod parts... or some other sellers. Next Mod does sell on eBay, but I haven't looked for a while.
I bought my grill from them on eBay a while back.

Yeah the lip is from baysonR (ebay seller) and the spoiler was from some japanese company. I bought my rear bumper flares from nextmod but they need some modification to fit properly. They make pretty nice products but I want them to fit differently than they did.

Their grill wasn't perfect either. In fact I had some hairline cracks in the glass and gelcoat. The bodyshop that did the painting took care of those. They did a great job of paint matching too, especially considering they didn't have the car to compare it to until after it was sprayed. They were sweating that. White is a nightmare for a painter, as black is for the body finishers. Too many different possible hues for white.

Yeah I get my stuff painted locally for that reason. I try to stockpile things and take them all at once for paint so at least those parts will match each other.

Couple of weeks ago:
Added a couple of Pedo Bear decals for s**** and giggles.
Added a Mazdas247.com decal on my rear passenger side quarter panel.
Yesterday: CorkSport interior LEDs came in.
Might install them later tonight. The eBay ones aren't cutting it in terms of durability.

Installed my new grille.
A pain in the ass if you don't have the right tools to break the stupid tabs off of the '04-'06 grille.
Just for anybody that wants to know, all '04-'06 grilles fit the '07-'08.
Just like there are 4 tabs for the 2nd gen, there are 4 tabs for the 1st gen. However, the 2 outer most tabs are much closer to the 2 in the middle, making it impossible to fit in.
So what you need to do is either take a dremel to it, or break it loose, and then hit the tabs with a hammer... Like I did. Lol.

Ordered 2 new tires for my 19s today and I mocked up the speedline 3 piece front splitter yesterday. I can't wait to get started on these projects!

nice SC_mazda3! I washed the car and got my rims mounted and balanced yesterday! then it stormed.. and it's still raining. sigh.

Changed my back brake light. I thought you had to take the casing out so after 5 minutes with a flathead screwdriver i realized all you have to do is take out the little plastic piece in the trunk. Now my right light isnt flush anymore. :/

-Previous owner did crap maintenance
-I bought my 3s from towing company for $4700, books for $8k+
-been driving it for a little over a week
-passenger front lower control arm broke while i was driving in my neighborhood.
-lost most of my steering had to get a tow for like .01 miles to my house (could have happened on freeway, thank god it didnt.)
-Replacing both sides today.

Aside, the reason I got the 3s so cheap was I bought it from a local repo guy that has a storage lot. The car was repossessed because it had like $3,000 in unpaid tickets (crazy I know). I even found an eviction notice in the glove box, guy must have been having a spout of really bad luck.

For $4700 i couldn't have asked for more. Dunno what the sport model comes standard with but it's loaded.
-Leather
-Navigation
-5 speed
-6cd changer(i know this is stock)
-a 1200w boss riot amp.
-New stage 2 clutch
-New a/c compressor
-New tires. Nexen n5000 (meh)

Only 80k miles, and a BLUE TITLE!! Deal of a lifetime.

Yes, I do. Have a few ideas.

1). The front grill has to go.
2). Looking for tasteful wheels.
3). Hid Fogs and Brights(are there HID brights?)
4). Bigger drilled rotors/pads.
5). Eventually a CAI
