What have you done to your CX-9 today?

Not everyday you get to follow your own vehicle.

Pretty quiet in here! All good so far with my 2022. Today I picked up some spare parts for an excellent price. Wagner rear brake pads, a pair of rear shocks, and a rear wiper blade insert. All for $40 CDN.

Hey guys, been a while seems like..

Random question, has anyone noticed their CX9 sitting differently on a flat surface?

As the weather is warming up and spending more time outside, I noticed the driver side of the vehicle sitting lower than the right side. It's about 3/4-1 inch difference, which is noticable to the eye.

For context, I'm about 215lbs, family of four, wife is petite and my two kids are young. My 45lbs kid sits behind me and the 90lbs kid sits behind the passenger side, at the back.
I don't tow (no hitch) and I don't use this for work whatsoever. No tools or anything else left in the vehicle at any time, other than a snow brush, battery booster etc, battery cables etc.

I can take pictures, but thought it's odd but not uncommon based on a quick Google search.

Yep, i've noticed the same thing with my Mazda 6 (Which shares the same chassis as your CX-9 both before and after changing the front struts.

No concern

I'm basically you lol, 210lbs, family of four with my heavier kid behind the passenger seat and my youngest behind me.

With my 2018, it was a little noticeable, especially after installing the lowering springs since the wheel gap difference between passenger and driver front was easier to discern. In my case it was less than 0.5" difference, so I didn't think much of it. Tire wear remained even with no issues and no changes in handling. I used the original dampers with the new springs. Got an alignment sometime later and the height difference remained.

The front suspension does take a lot of abuse. Maybe the spring has broken or lost tension over time, or the damper is showing signs of wear? Have you driven over any bad potholes lately? Have you noticed the height difference before, maybe when it was less obvious?
