What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Actually fairly uncommon these days.. good work. What did you tap into for wires?

Posted some more pictures on the LED lighting thread as well.

Used a pin switch which provides the ground input when the glove box is opened and wired into the illumination wire behind the radio for power.

^^ thanks, my wheels are 20x8.5 40 offset and my tires are 255/45. After my installation, I drove it around and went over speed bumps and dips on a moderate speed, The only rubbing I noticed is when I made a hard turn or U-turns, the tires rubbed on the inner plastic liner towards the firewall but i think is very minimal.
Oh so we have the same size then. The aspect seemed smaller, since once I'll be on coilovers I'll probably be that low and I'm buying new tires soon, possibly at a slightly lesser aspect (maybe 255/45, but I want a wider wheel too, so maybe 265/55 or 45)

Thats cool your getting bc coilover just make the preload is properly set up and it seem like your tire looks beefier than my 255/45

Installed the Corksport springs

That looks awesome man! It has a really nice stance with those wheels and that drop.

I've just ordered a set of Eibach ProKit springs and will be getting them installed on Tuesday next week with some new 20" wheels. I only wanted a subtle drop as I don't want the ride quality to deteriorate too much given that the car is mainly used for family duties.

I'll post back here once the installation is done.

Thanks man, I had H&R springs before the Corksport and the ride quality so far is comparable to it, I also used the cx5 for my family aswell ,hey my wife and daughter don't mind :) With your Eibach's and 20's will look for sure

I have modified my wheels from 40 to 42 offset and 245 wheels, I should be slightly better then you. The higher offset, brings the wheels deeper in by 2mm, but my tires are thinner then yours.

I have finished installing an Escort Redline radar detector with Smart cord.
I have made from an Aluminum 6061 1" wide x .089 thick material this bent bracket. I had made a couple of 6-32 threads and put together this bracket, which it's just pushed in between the car's top and the bracket that holds the sun glass holder.
I had to add, a little bit of foam, between the bracket and windshield.
A while back, I have installed the mirror(aftermarket) and more recently the Mini 0805 dashcam.
