What have you done to your CX-5 today?

installed more old parts onto the new car.. switchbacks, working on getting my audio back in base don pictures of the old wiring (had to buy some metal cutting drill bits for ground wire). Also.. the C/S exhaust is way better on the 2.5 than the 2.0. I'm going to have the tips extended 2-3 inches so it actually fills the cutout.

got my LED lights in the mail. corksport got back at me for calling them cocksport :p they gave me a nice tin can too

look at the name lol

Lol.... Glad to see they have a sense of humor.

Also just wondering, did your old strut bar work on the new ride?

Tomorrow I plan to hit the shop and get a lift to lower my car and change the rear sway. I will be fitting the ultra racing bars back; I'll keep you updated. And then I'll start my new build thread.

So just got the car back from the dealer and the stains are gone, little wet sanding and a polish, looking good!

Getting ready for the winter, so did some work with the wheels. Bought an extra set of rims so can do the swap when I see fit. Nothing crazy, just stuck with the original sizes. Installed Nokian Hak R2's on the OEM wheel, and put the stock rubber on some new black machined wheels. I'm running the new wheels right and will swap over to winters once the snow flys. Once I get some pics, I'll post them up.

Installing the 4 channel amp under the passenger seat.
that's where I had mine initially.. I tried ot reinstall my wiring myself but it didn't work. most likely trying to use wiretaps is wehre it failed. I will have the audio shop hard wire (instead of taps) next week and move the amp/capacitor to the rear.

I'm not done with the install. I'm making it in steps, when I have some time.
The 0 gauge wire, is installed from the battery through the firewall where I have used a plastic cord gland connector. It is ran all the way under the driver's seat and it is split into three 8 gauge wires.
One wire, will go in the back for an inverter, that I will have to install.
The sub amp, it is installed under the driver's seat, the wires are ran all the way to the back and all the way under the passenger's foot area.
The four channel I have installed today with all the speaker wires, RCAs and remote wire all the way to the passenger's foot area.
Next time, I will have to replace the stereo with a Kenwood DNX6990HD for now. I may be able to repair a DNX9990HD and if I'm successful, I will replace it with that.
After that, I'm moving in the trunk are to install the sub.
I'm soldering everything, no taps here.
This is my first install, I hope that it will work from the get go. That steering wheel control and Kenwood wire it's pretty scary. Hopefully I won't have accidents.
Here are two pictures, about today's work.

Just the pics & lighting. They are stainless steel and look like this in better lighting.
