What have you done for your garage today?

I also just moved into my house. So far, I've added 2 4' shop lights with the twin flouresent bulbs, a shelve I picked up at Sam's and a couple towel racks- one for my chamois and one for my spray bottles. The previous owners left some peg board on the wall and some Rubbermaid storage shelves (they have doors on them) which are mounted on the wall.

To do list:
replace single overhead light bulb with a ceiling fan with 3 or 4 lights
add another power outlet or 2
insulate and drywall the exposed studs
paint the walls, peg board and ceiling WHITE
build a work bench for my bench grinder
put everything away

Slid the MSP in and shut the door (insert evil genius laugh here) ...

what an awesome thread! i'm gonna post pics of my garage today :)..well of my dads garage LOL. i want a lift like that so bad..hmm maybe after a tune

nice rx-7's btw, those are my fav

Edit: okay so all i actually managed to do in my garage was make a mess ;) then i took a pic of it haha.

Within the past month, I have:

-Added wall cabinets
-Added lighting beneath the cabinets
-Replaced the CRT with a hung flat panel
-Replaced the crappy computer speakers with wired wall mounted speakers
-Replaced the 2 Gal. pancake air compressor with a thoughtful Christmas gift. :)

All I need now is a micro-fridge and I doubt I'll leave the garage, hehe.

Cleaned on the trash...wahoo! I can't wait for spring time to give it a complete overhaul.

Nice work Kevin! If I owned my house I'd do the same.

Since it's about 60 degrees here in the Mile High City, I took the opportunity to sweep and hose out the garage. Lots of disgusting water flowed down the driveway. Ready for the next round of snow storm crap to be deposited on the garage floor!

Lucky. We have a winter blizzard here. 12" of snow with 45mph winds and 10 degree wind chill. Not much going on in my garage other than a hibernating RX.

Oh, I forgot about this thread. A few weeks ago I finally installed some shelves so my stereo and speakers could be hooked up. And this weekend I added the home kit for my Sirius S50 receiver so I have Sirius satelite in the garage now. It's even better than I thought it would be!

Nice, I need to get a home unit now that I'm not commuting 2hrs a day.

We spent most of the day Sunday cleaning and re-organizing... putting things in the attic. Still need to buy a much larger tool box and make some tire racks but we'll make do until then.

well i moved back into the house that had the garage fire.

the new garage has the floor epoxied and i have 4 8 foot flourescents on the cieling. the cabinets and whatnot still need to go up, but im in no rush.

i also got the toolbox. its a red craftsman toolbox w/ ball bearing drawers.

i put what tools i had in there, along with my clean polishing pads, and bottles of polish and wax.

we've got to get our garage under control. we moved in last june and since then it's just filled with out crap. luckily we still fit our two cars inside. budget plan would be gorilla racks and a workbench.

Here's mine. Finally put up some cabinets to store all the crap!! Can't wait to get a compressor and air tools.. :)

^ Before ^

I spent the better part of the week cleaning up the garage.

-demolished my old huge workbench
-moved + organized the shelves to the left side of the garage
-built a newer, smaller workbench in the corner
-gathered up the cojones to wire a 240V outlet for the MIG welder (after a year of storage) (rockon)

More to come...

-install pegboard + cabinets
-two 8' fluorescent lights + a 4' fluorescent light for the workbench.
-move all the stock parts (and junk) on the floor to the attic
-finish the workbench (3/4" plywood on top + fasten vises + drill press)
-build computer for the garage

No fair, pic's please! I really want to epoxi my floors, did you have it done or DIY?

Doing a QR25DE full forged motor build in my garage right now!! It's for my freinds Spec V. We have two of these motors sitting in there, should be fun!
