What have you done for your garage today?

On the same basic idea, I was going to ask, what's behind the garage? You could go out the back for more space.

I really want a garage that's 2 cars wide (with some room) and 2 cars deep. Much more than two wide, and the whole front of the house is garage door! At 2X2 though, you keep the daily drivers in the front row, by the door, and the back row is the race car/classic/roadster/parts car, etc. that you don't need to get out very often. Sounds about perfect to me, but I would also go for 3 wide by 2 deep!
there's nothing behind the garage, just the yard (which is huge - he could fit his entire house in there). it was a thought i had as well, but we don't want to do a lot of work, especially initially, because with my move and immigration expenses, not to mention being unable to work for a few months, we'll have very little $ free. plus, we're not sure how long we plan to be in this house; we both want a little bit of land and to build, so we'll see what all happens. some sort of quick, easy and cheap! remedy would be wonderful for the time being.

(mswerd)lol - I'd look him up if I was in the area Andrea! Man, that is simply awesome - I would love to have space like that. Not gonna happen in Los Angeles, I'll have to make due with a lift ...

Got a $100 gift card to Pep Boys for my Bday, so I stocked the shelves with Synthetic Motor, ATX and MTX oil today ...

I cleaned mine today (again), save for the stains on the floor. Does that count?

Nice "framing" :)

I've got the same dual light set-up. It's a love/hate relationship ...

Throws great illumination (thumb)
Disconects to do under-car work (thumb)

Acts like a space heater when I least need it and helps maintain my garage @ 100F+ in the summer (pow)

The lights work great specially since the lighting in my garage sucks. They do get extremly hot though! Ya the shelve's were just a way to get the trophies out from behind my car so i can back it up to the wall.

we just moved in to our new house last weekend. it's a mess and we didn't really take any pictures. but we're in the process of cleaning out all the stuff we don't need (should've done that before we moved, but whatever).

3 car tandem garage. 2 cars wide with two cars parking in tandem. first thing my dad told me was that i can now get my mustang out of his garage.
