This is like the 100th post with the same subject underlying. But I am just entertaining some ideas in my head.

2003 Black Mica MSP- Used 600 miles. Previous hail damage at the dealership but its fixed. BASE MSRP: $19,980.00 BASE INVOICE: $18,466.00

or skip that and go straight to the 03.5 BASE MSRP: $20,480.00 BASE INVOICE: $18,927.00....dont know if its the blazing yellow or titanium,. This dealership has two 03.5's and one 03.

...just wondering...

They're selling an MSP with 600 miles and hail damage for MSRP? Oh hell no! Just buy a new one. I waited till my dealership shipped some new MSP's in. Got mine with 3 miles on it straight off the truck. I dont think id ever buy a new car that had more than 20 miles on it. Id rather wait for a brand spankin new one thats untouched.

...i like all the colors for the MSP, but i chose to get the black, just because its more classic (imo). Its hard to keep clean, but i think it looks better then the other colors when its been washed and cleaned well. Plus i figured id be more likely to be pulled over with a sporty paint job. Eh.

That dealership needs to knock off a lot more than that for the damage. Plus there's the rebate that I think still applies.

Its only a thought cuz it's black and looks good as hell. I also like the 03 body styling better than the 03.5 but they both are good. It's used and there was a hail storm here like a month ago and that car got hit. (you could barely tell) but it was fixed. Took pictures of it the last time I was there.

I'll keep playing with the numbers.

If the car is PERFECTLY repaired, and by that I mean, you cannot notice any damage at all, then it might be interesting. Remember to check from an angle to see how it reflects light....

600 miles is worth about a $2000 deduction to me. Dont pay more than$17,500 for it. The dealership is gonna want more than that though, ill guarantee you that. They'll say, "yea but its a limited edition car". So what, its still just a car, dont let em get ya!

Thanks for the advice guys. But I was also thinking about no more than 17,500 because of previous damage. Then again I might just opt for the new one unless I find another 03.

scottyp99smr- I am from Kansas City, Mo

hail damage- people got theres when the 03 was still hot for mid 16's.

that is with no rebate, fast selling car.

the price they gave you is WAY too high.

WALK OUT THE DOOR. Then go back, get their deal. If you don't like it WALK. They NEED to sell cars, you don't NEED to buy one.

Well went to the dealership today. They sold the black one. They also sold the Titanium. This lady, with her husband and two kids, came rolling up in it past me and it was beautiful. i want so bad. They had the yellow but I didn't want that. They will be getting another titanium next month and a blue one months from now. I think now would be a bad time to trade but I want it NOW!...

Oh well...there are other dealerships in my area that carries mazdaspeeds :D but I will stay away :'(

Oh they also had a black RX-8 that was sold. Two guys were talking to the owner about it. They said the Mazdaspeed RX-8 would be 445hp with a 7spd   . And the svt 4 wasnt really anything compared to the speed. Plus a whole other bunch of crap they were feeding the guys. Yep....7spd and SVT4. He kept repeating it and was firm on it. Yep...7spd.

So troll I will....
