My best advice is : Try to get the lightest wheels!

Some manufacturers have new designs and alloys that are close to the forged models from US and Japanese brands, but at a fraction of the cost...

A great couple of guides will be this month's TURBO & High Performance Magazine, and the latest Sport Compact Car Mag. I think the TURBO is very good because covers only the really light models in each size multiple, although the SCC mag covers many more brands/models...

Not a big fan of Motegi. For that price, why not get some 5 Zigen FN01R's (the FN01rC's may be to expensive) or some Enkei RPF-1's.

Where and what size

I remember seeing some 205/40/17 for 80 a tire somewhere on the net... can't remember where, it was an introductory price, when i was looking for rims.

We have a lot of tires in that price range. I would chekc the offsets and width of that wheel before getting too excited. Just check the fitment.
