What do you think about the famous writer Dan Brown and his books?

Shorter, definitely and less military and government, I think. I really liked Da Vinci Code and started reading the rest of his books after that. But after a while, the same resolution started cropping up and I'm not interested anymore.

I see.
I never read any of this books before.
I has been reading Tom Clancy's books only. But this Da Vinci Code book does sound interesting to me. I heard from CNN that he is already writing a sequal for it.

Well, the main character shows up in at least one other book, Angels & Demons. So, he might be making it into a series.

The Da Vinci Code is good, I'm just glad that it was the first book of his that I read. I recommend that you start w/ that one and then read Angels & Demons. You can decide if you want to read his other books after that.

I would start with Angels and Demons. I think it's better than Da Vinci Code, and it comes before Da Vinci Code so you get to know the characters better that way. Digital Fortress and Deception Point are not nearly as good, but still decent.

If you like action books, I would recommend Matthew Reily (Ice Station, Temple). They basically read like an blockbuster action movie. Clive Cussler is another good author along those lines, but I find his books much more hit or miss - some are great, some suck.
