What products do you guys use for interior cleaning. I mean for cleaining the dash and such??? I do not want to use armour all because I'm not much for the glossy/oily interior look. I'd rather have it look dull like it did brand new, but I'd like to have the UV prtection that Armour All provides. Is there any products that'll do this.

Now a little glossy I can live with, but AA is so damn glossy it's almost blinding at times.

A clean, damp chamois is best, but if you spilled something that water won't take off, try Blue Magic leather and vinyl cleaner. It works great, doesn't leave any film or oils, and doesn't smell funny either. I've been using it for years with no ill effects at all.

a wet chamois to wipe off dust etc, I have been using the low gloss Armor All as of late, it's definitely less blinding than the regular stuff.

I use a swiffer cloth on the dash & console to remove dust, and it works great. I keep it in my arm rest & use it whenever it gets too dusty...takes like 30 seconds. As for protection, I think that armor all used to make a low-gloss, but I don't know if they still do.

thanks guys, thought about the water thing and will probably do it. But wondering about the protection. I'll try the other stuff on the Jeep first

I tried the AA orange cleaner, worked good but left some streaks and then I tried some cheap-o advanced auto brand cleaning wipes it made my dash look like s*** with streaks and occasional glossing over some parts.

If I remember right I think someone (Protege5Gurly) told me to try swiffers. They do a great job in cleaning the dash.

I use leather polish on the dash and steering wheel, on the plastic I use very little armor all, and then swiffer to get all the dust out. Also, once a month or so I blast all the little cracks and creases with my air compresser to get all the dust and dirt out. It looks almost brand new after doing this.

just regular old air compressor, just get the attachment that sprays air. It works like no other, just blasts everything out.

I'm 99% sure Black Magic makes a low gloss interior protectant wipe for our style dash boards. It's been a while I last saw it, but it was at Pep Boys... Worked well in my other cars and had nice citrus scent that wasn't strong at all.

Mequiar's just released a new "NXT" line of products.. One being a vinyl, rubber, something else protectant. It's *NICE*... No greasy film, doesn't leave lines or streaks on the dash, goes on even... Good stuff.

And the wax is *incredible*...

Good stuff. I'm sold.
