what do you guys think

ok my tranny if messed just like alot of u guys. i had to take it to get it fixed 1 time already cause it was stuck in 3rd gear, and i know im not the only one. and now for about 4 months its been grinding everytime i shift into 3rd. i have an injen on so do u think theyll give me a problem with the warantee or anything like that?and if they do what should i do??

tell ya what I would do....I kept my stock intake....I would put it back on for two reasons....

1. To eliminate ANY reason for the dealer to give me grief for ANY reason...

2. Cause I wouldn't trust them to take care of my nice shiney intake......and it only takes a little over an hour to do the swap.

if you don't have your stock one.....you don't really have an option now do you.

If they give you any s*** about the intake affecting the tranny they are nuts. Read here http://www.enjoythedrive.com/content/?id=8124 especially the section called "The Law", to prepare yourself before you go to the dealer.

Which dealership do you go to??? The in Wanye on Rt 23 north or the one in ramsey on Rt 17 north?

I would go to the one on 23 north b/c they are a new dealership and Mazda is looking over their shoulder alot due to this reason. So the dealer ship will bend over backwards to help you out so they will get get views. Plus when i bought my car the service guy TOLD me to get an Injen CAI!!!! so i would go there and they would give you no problems.

yea

thats where i bought mine and i live like a min away from there. ok so they wont give me a problem with the intake but i am affraid of them messin up, and i dont wanna pu the whole stock intake back on so what i was thinkin about doin, since its only right down the road, is put just the stock TUBE on with my old aem air filter on it and just somehow connect the wires so itll last me like 500 feet. or will they give me a problem
