I personally think it looks alot better without that black tape around the windows. Get the rest done and snap some pics. BTW the fmic looks nice.

A heat gun would make it much easier. Just make sure you don't get it to hot. Also be sure to have plenty of adhesive remover.

well, yeah...a hair dryes did the trick
and how hot can it be??
well...if it is too hot for you to have your hand next too it...then lower the heat

removal is 10 mins per door...but the down won today
so the rest will be done tomorrow

.. I think removal of the tape depends a LOT on the overall 'scheme' of the car. Especially if you have tint! Removing that tape would look awful on my MSP, but then again, I have 15% tint all around.

Let's see some different 'wide angle' shots of your MSP. I'm reserving judgement till then!

Watch out... some of the older models (02) like mine don't have tape for some reason. It is baremetal covered by some kind of plastic coating. I wanted to do this but couldn't.

This mod is for MSP, NOT Protege5. Trust me, I looked into this 3 years ago. Totally sucks.

I'm not a fan of this cause of the black strip at the base of the window and the one between the rear window and 1/4 window. But that's my opinion. Now if you were to paint those to match the body color, than yes
