What do u hate about the P5?

I need to buy a new car. Wondering if I should get a P5 since it is about the right size and price of car I need. I know forums are biased, so I just want HONEST thoughts on what you DO NOT like about your car. Please don't tell me why this is a good car, I'm sure there are plenty of reasons. I just want to know the BAD.

one bad fact is the mazda 3 just came out.. You should be able to score a p5 real cheap.

It is slow!!
 
2 button sunroof. If you've ever seen the VW controls you 'll know what I mean. Other than that it is the best thing I ever bought.
 
i hate... i hate.... darn, can't come up with anything. perhaps a little more power? but it can hang with anyone in its class, so it's all good. we paid for an econobox, not a hiperf sports car.
 
i aggree with what was said before about the sunroof buttons, i had a VW GTI 2001 before my pro 5 and it had the nicest sunroof control. it had a turn knob that all i had to do was turn to a certain setting and it goes their automatically so i didnt have to hold the button down the whole time.
 
My P5 was the single best thing I ever bought to relieve my stress level :D
 
NO REAR CUP HOLDERS, yea mazda cheaped out on us they didnt give us the Jdm cup holders, is it soo much to ask for lol
 
Eh? You can get the JDM cup holders...I thought there was a group buy on for this recently. We have em up here in Canada.
 
It really sucks to drive with 14" wheels and winter tires on..

The 16's just make it more fun..

My main pet peave is that my auto neon had better gas millage than this car...
 
the cup holders are worthless except for holding change...
 
my cuphoders work fine. :p

the rear cupholders arent good for anything larger than a can of coke, and with american fast food places that means a small wont fit ;)

Personally, the only thing i would change about the p5 is the fabric pattern on the seats. For some reason i dont like them anymore.

Good for you, mine suck donky balls. So unpractical, When I have a Large Carls Jr. Soda I have to shift with my palm on the back of the shifter, and my thumb cupping the top. If I forget and hold it naturally, there is a 50/50 chance Im going to knock the lid off and spill some soda.

PM Natey about where he got his seat covers, they look great and they are not as cheap looking as most covers (they are not as cheap as most covers also!).




As for as the MP5, I wish it had more power, but it feels fast off the line, corners like its on rails, looks great from all angles, and is practical enough to justify what people paid for it when they came out. But these days they are SOOO damn cheap that it is by far one of the best car deals EVER!
 
the only thing i can say i hate about the P5 is the tire size.....no real performance tires available that keep the same rolling diameter appart from the falken azenis 215/45/16's
