What did you pay for your MS6

hey dear mazda 6es
how does 24900 plus tax and title sound for a sports speed 6?

Lease that sucker and take the price down to $22,900 like Jrod. Okay, I was pretty happy to get S-Plan pricing and the lease incentive. But, damn, now I'm starting to get jealous. That's it, I'm trading my '06 in for an '06 as soon as the '07s come in.

seanw,

Many dealerships are applying the lease incentives to purchases. So if you ask, some will sell you a sport for 22,900 with 2.9 financing.

Well since I ordered mine before they were even here I knew that I wasn't going to be getting any deals. I leased my GT model for $715/mo CAN taxes in, with $0, on a 4 year lease with APR 5.2%. An extra year warranty was rolled into the price. Pretty much ****-age, but this is officially my wife's "business" vehicle so we can write off much of the lease payment.

Astounding, but are you sure it isn't the lease incentive being applied to purchases which brings it down to $24,900? Arghh! Fine, maybe with a little tough bargaining I can trade my '06 in for two new '06's when the '07's arrive.

But, seriously, I really have a hard time believing any dealership is gonna want the '07's.

Ok people are you reay for this?

PURCHASED today mazda speed 06 sport for $24,470 with 2.9% APR for 36 months. NO AGAIN, NOT A LEASE. A PURCHASE.
Original sticker price $28,555.

Yes, mazda financing.
I think that the low APR is zip-code dependable but again it was not on the Mazda web site so I am not 100% sure.
I live in New Orleans area and I knew before I went to the dealer (through research and lots of e-mails) that for 36 months you get 2.9 APR.
Now when I was inside the finance office of the dealer, the guy had set up the payments for 5.9% for 48 months. I told him why is that and he tried to BS around. I told him I want 36 months with 2.9% or I am walking out the door.
Of course your credit score should be in very good rating. I do not renember what was mine but I think he told it was more than 700.

for future reference:
Here's is what I know:
36 months --> 2.9%
48 months ---> 3.9%
60 months ---> 4.9%
The finance people will try to get the highest APR possible because they make better commision like that. It is the same as the guy that sells the car: the higher the price the higher the commision. Therefore the higher APR you finance it the higher commision they make.
Demand to see the credit score and the decision that Mazda made.
It tells you the amount of money the are willing to finance with you and the maximum monthly payment.
It is your right to see these numbers.

cheers,
Sakis

Hmmm. I'll go check that out. Thanks for the info...you got a great deal...and welcome to the forum.

Ain't it a b****... When the wife and I went to look at Subarus a couple years ago, we went because of the 0% financing. Turns out you have to finance for 24 months! Ugh...

Ever since then, everytime I see low financing from Subaru it's always at 24 months. Guess Mazda is doing the same!

My lease turns out to be about 4.5%. Not terrible I guess.

And BTW, CONGRATS and welcome to the forum! Every day I step into my MS6 it still brings a smile to my face... I love my car more and more each day. Sure you will too...

I'm going through the "negotiating phase". I have a feeling my new dealer is trying to stick me with some bulls*** taxes. I walked out yesterday not entirely impressed with the "deal" they gave me, then it hit me. I asked for a 5 yr lease at the new 1.9% rate, they were giving me numbers for a 4yr. So I call today asking about the 5 yr again, and they claim that if I go to a 5 yr, I don't get the .5% customer loyalty because it's not through Mazda financing, yet there is no mention of this anywhere on their site???? anyone in Canada know if this is true?

anyone besides rainman in canada leasing and could let me know their monthly payment with taxes?

hmmm
is seems to me that the royal costumer rebate comes from Mazda and not from the dealer (not 100% sure).
Call mazda finance hotline and ask them.
I am sure they can tell you this much.

Same here...just came back from a 250 mile road trip on single lane highways...you can even pass cars in 6th gear!

geee
I just found out that in my mother land Greece, the mazda speed06 with standard leather/heated seats and 260 ps costs about 43,000 euros which means about $56,000. (omg) Metallic color extra for $600.
ouch

ouch.

I'm waiting on quotes from a few dealers that aren't too far from me. To be honest, I don't think I'm going to be getting one now. I need to knock about $70 a month off to get the ms6 with leather. I'm going to try to find a deal on a base model before I give up.

Question: does the base model have heated seats?

No. I wouldn't let that stop you from buying it though.
