What did you pay for your 5?

whass this about 2006 GT's, there wasn't a GT till 2007 ya'll ?? I'm looking at a 2007 GT no extras and they want $24g due to market, but MSRP is $22 and I think $21 would be fair

Actually you are incorrect. GT as a trim level was available in 2006, (I have one) up here in Canada. The 5 came better equiped in Canada (in it's standard trim levels) GS and GT. Bot h cars came with the side sills (lookd odd without them) you ave a choice of 16 ot 17 inch rims (again by trim level). I think the 5 had much better market penetration in Canada where we are already buying smaller cars (over 50% of Cars sold in canada are compact class and have 4 cyl engines) The 5 fits in better with our car culture than in the US

$18350 before TTL

06 Touring - 5 Speed, everything but Navigation.

With or without Tax, Tags, Title

If you leased what was the breakdown?

Thanks for your help guys:)

I just paid $16,225 including the MAC rebate for a 2006 Sport with Automatic, Moonroof, Popular Equipment, Fog Lights, Cargo Net, Floor Mats, and Wheel Locks.

If you can buy one now, there are a few 2006s left, and you can search Mazdausa for them. I know there is a black Sport 5 speed in Mattoon, IL. It came with Popular Equipment, Fog Lights, and one of the auto-dimming mirrors. The list is $19,065 and salesman quoted me a price of $17,700, which is about $70 below invoice. But I think you could do better. Mine was about $1,800 below invoice and that was before I took advantage of the additional $1,000 MAC rebate.

I believe Schaumburg Mazda also has one in black.

Hope that helps.

Patrick

Found a 2006 Sport Whitewater Pearl in Batavia, Ohio. Automatic, Popular Equipment, Cargo Net, Compass Mirror, Rear Bumper Step Plate, Wheel Locks. MSRP is $19,890. I believe it has been advertised for $16,995. I don't know if this forum lets you give dealer names, so just go to MazdaUSA.com and search for a Mazda5 within 150 miles of Cincinnati.

Looks like there is a 2006 Touring in Blue nearby as well, but it is listed at 22K.

I took a raping trading in my 04 mazda3 S HB and lost a couple grand, but I still found my way out ok.

Paid about 18 even for the sport auto with 6cd + inflatable goat package.

ok so you got the Grand Sport and Grand touring as compared to our Sport and Touring, now in 2007 that we have Grand touring with leather whattya'll call it Grand Grand Touring??

well we started shopping around to find out which dealer in the NW is gonna get us our white GT with no or minimal options for under $20g +TTL WOOT hope to get one in 3mos

Thanks for all the info guys...we found out my wife doesn't have to turn her car in until after her unpaid maternity leave we thought she had to at the begining...so we held off buying her a car until now

We drove the 5 last night and my wife LOVED it we actually liked it better than the CX-7. The CX-7 was more comfortable but the 5 fits our needs much better...

There are no MAC rebates right now other than a grand for the auto show. So we may wait to see what the March incentives look like or go used. There are quite a few around w.low miles...save a few grand!

Well we did it! I actually went and bought it and suprised my wife w/a big red bow on it.

Picked up Black 07 MZ5 Sport w/Rubber mats, 3/36K mile oil changes, rotation, and services for 17K + TTL out the door. That includes the current 1K Chicago Auto Show rebate.

Absolutely love it.

Absolutely the easiest car purchase I have ever made...I walked in told the sales manager this will be the fastest you have ever sold a car if you give me your best deal you can give me right now.

Mazda Autobarn in Countryside IL is a top notch dealership to work with

Last weekend got a 2007 Mazda5 GT pearl white, espresso leather, no other options. Paid $21,063 before tax, plates, and $195 "vehicle admin" (ie, full tank o gas and wash).

I had S-Plan pricing through work which is the same as invoice pricing on Edmunds.com. They added about $500 over invoice because they didn't have the car in inventory and a "boston area markup". Not sure if that is really kosher under the S-Plan but I didn't have any other information. They didn't even require proof that I worked for a qualifying employer, so I guess anyone can go there and ask for this pricing.

I just picked up one of the last 2006 Mazda5 Sports that my dealer had, I got it for $16100 + TTL w/ Auto, 6 Disc Changer, and the Pearl White paint.
