What cars can the MS3 run with?

This is true....

I should have been specific stating you can almost always make more power with a turbo.... the only thing I dont like about superchargers = constant boost, and thus if you're boosting a lot of power, can relate to more tire spin.... i.e. difficulty hooking the tires. Which matters a lot at the drag strip.

I have a friend who just recently bought a mustang gt that's been twin turbo'd, took it to a friend's shop where they have a dynojet and put down about 749 hp..... he gets on it though.... runs a good low tens in the 1/4 consistently, he did pull a 9.8-something once, but that was on a good day with some great traction.....

Most mustangs around me are supercharged as well, but the REAL fast ones have a turbo or 2 under the hood.

I've installed quite a few superchargers in my day as well as a twin turbo system on my friends Mustang. Power wise, the turbo systems will win hands down. Reliability wise, I'd much prefer the Superchargers. If a car is designed with a turbo from the factory, it'll be just as reliable as the next car, if it's not, what a friggin nightmare. Reworked suspensions, tuning, fitment issues, smoking tail pipes due to oil flow issues. I just can't justify the car being a PITA with the extra power.

I know what you mean about reliablity..... i'm just talking about in the horsepower race........ turbos > superchargers

plus if you get your supercharger making a lot of power you would still need to do tuning and reworking a few things

like if I took my F150 lariat and put in the supercharger (or a more powerful one) like the lightnings have...... well it wouldn't be the same since the regular f150 (even though it's 5.4L v8) has weaker rods than the lightning does, from factory.....

but yeah superchargers are more reliable to put on a non-boosted stock engine than a turbo is......(drinks)

True. Turbos are not worth it for N/As unless you are planning to build a track car or something. Too many changes and possible problems to come. Supercharging them is the best way to go. I have a friend with a TT 350Z...a beast, it aint his daily driver, yet it still causes problems the very few times he takes it out...

that reminds me of the time my friend was racing another friend of ours in his single turbo'd g35......

our other friend has one of the older '98 mustang cobras..... he's pretty much stock, only an intake and exhaust, and my friend pretty much BLEW his engine in his g35 trying to keep up with my friend's cobra on the highway..... sucks for him (stooges)

how much boost? and did he change anything on the motor? internals and s*** like that...

I believe he upped the boost..... yeah he had the internals and junk worked on, but I think that night he upped his boost to like 29-30 psi......and the engine couldn't take it, or something (spank) ......lol

sucks though

yo mike i got my car back with th cai installed and i get home and the tranny is leaking.....so now no more car for probably another week...tuesday they gona send a tow truck to pick it up
