I should have been specific stating you can almost always make more power with a turbo.... the only thing I dont like about superchargers = constant boost, and thus if you're boosting a lot of power, can relate to more tire spin.... i.e. difficulty hooking the tires. Which matters a lot at the drag strip.
I have a friend who just recently bought a mustang gt that's been twin turbo'd, took it to a friend's shop where they have a dynojet and put down about 749 hp..... he gets on it though.... runs a good low tens in the 1/4 consistently, he did pull a 9.8-something once, but that was on a good day with some great traction.....
Most mustangs around me are supercharged as well, but the REAL fast ones have a turbo or 2 under the hood.

Reliability wise, I'd much prefer the Superchargers. If a car is designed with a turbo from the factory, it'll be just as reliable as the next car, if it's not, what a friggin nightmare. Reworked suspensions, tuning, fitment issues, smoking tail pipes due to oil flow issues. I just can't justify the car being a PITA with the extra power.

Supercharging them is the best way to go. I have a friend with a TT 350Z...a beast, it aint his daily driver, yet it still causes problems the very few times he takes it out...
