What can I do to my car for $100?

A dremel so you can remove the VCTS and polish your intake manifold. Or, if you already have the Dremel, buy a bunch of bits to complete the project.

Or, you can spend about 30 bucks and replace the bad stock horns with a nice set of Fiamm dual tone air horns with compressor and put those in. They're a riot and great for scaring the s*** outta people.

i think I will take Mogi's advise. Hey Jonas, when can we meet up?

whenever. My work schedule is pretty tight and with my wife at home on bed rest for the next two weeks, I pretty much go to work and go home. If you can get away from work for an hour or so, I work in North Hollywood, which isn't too far from Glendale (i think you work there). Any time during the week is cool with me.

My's pretty tight too but perhaps we can meet up something at lunch? How far is N. Hollywoof from Glendale? I am on Brand Blvd. Also, can you tell me what I will need to install the intake?

yeah...im completely sure im selling it, installing it is somewhat easy, and there has been proof that the header does help the top end a bit...but yeah, i think the intake is better to go with first...less to worry about and u learn the basics of tinkering before moving on to the slightly more complicated one that comes with the header...ill probably have my header around for a while if u ever decide to change your mind!

hey, you never know. Maybe i will get another present too! Afterall, my wife got me the lip and my buddy got me the intake...maybe I can find someone else to get me the header!

so I got the Intake today from Jonathan. Can someone give me detail installation of this part (pic preferred =p) I tried searching in the forum, but only find one, but not a very detailed how-to. I am an idiot when it comes to car so I don't wantta mess it up.

rip off all your old intake housing, put the elbow on the throttle body side, then a pipe, then a coupling with the MAF (make sure it is facing the correct direction), then a coupling to the next pipe, then the filter... if anything gets in the way (such as the coolant resivour) just relocate it...

that sounds so easy! Let me just say that it took me about 1 hour just to change 1 fog light! Yeah, I am that much of an idiot when it comes to car!

ok...so the intake has been installed. what the heck should I do with the coolant tank? right now I just ziptided it next to the pipe, but is that a way to get it nice and tight?

I flipped the stock bracket over, cut it in half, and painted it to prevent rust.

Let me know if you need additional pics of what the bracket looks like
