- 2014 CX-5 Touring White
First, Memorial Day marked my 1 year anniversary as a CX-5 owner. I have no complaints or gripes. I really like this vehicle with all else considered, such as, I don't hold the CX-5 to what I would expect if I bought a BMW or Mercedes. For the cost, paid it off in less than a year, I think it fits everything I need.

Just a note for anyone considering Wet Okole or perhaps other neoprene seat covers for the rear seats that the thickness of the material (and padding) will probably impact the seat from laying as flat as it would without seat covers. I roughly got them fitted yesterday evening and need to go back and work a bit more on pulling them into place. I lost a good bit of flesh off the back of my fingers trying to shove the material down between the splits. You will come into contact with some sharp edges of plastic and metal or at least I did. My hands feel a bit raw this morning. I considered gloves, but it is a hard tight process and you have to be able to feel the edge of the material in order to grab it tightly and start pulling it through. The center split was the hardest section in this experience. There are straps and plastic buckles to help secure, but I could not get positioned to get those snapped together underneath the bottom.
It is easy to pull out the cargo platform, Styrofoam pieces that hold the jack and tools and sit on the spare as you try to pull the material through.
Overall the fit is not too bad, but again I need to spend some more time working pulling the material into place before I upload any pictures.
The main thing was to let anyone considering these covers that it could possibly impact how the seat will lay down. If the seats not laying as flat will make you mad then this is probably not the right route to consider. For me I felt a need to protect the sand colored fabric from bike grease and other dirt that I have while training. I have really enjoyed having these on the front seats because they are waterproof and yet very comfortable. I don't have the fear of getting in dirty after riding in the rain with dirt and grit on me so it is well worth the seats not laying full flat or even having some minor fit issues. I must admit the fit is really going to depend on working the fabric into place and for me it was a hard tedious process that I don't quite have finished.
