weird sound when turning?

I've just started noticing this sound when I turn yesterday and at first I thought I needed new brakes. I just want to make sure something is jacked up, because I've never had a car do it before... When I turn the wheel and am on the brake, like slowly creeping out to see, I get this awful moaning sound when I hit the brake. It doesn't do it every time and it has been getting colder, so I don't know how to figure out what exactly it is. Just wondering if anyone else has had it happen or if it is even something I should worry about.

It does it randomly regardless of whether the car is warmed up or not. Does it a low speeds, usually less than 10mph.

Is the car new? A lot of people including myself had that kind of weird brake noise when the car was new. Only happened as crawling speeds, like moving up in a left turn lane. It eventually goes away, but I'm not sure what it is.

If it's a brake grunt noise that bothers you, take it to the dealer. That's a common type of warranty claim.

hm, if it will just go away then I'll leave it be. It doesn't bother me, I just didn't want to worry about something breaking or s*** like that. The car only has 3l miles on it, so we'll see what happens!

Mine does it too, here and there. I managed to replicate it at the dealership and they checked my entire suspension, couldn't find the problem, and told me to take it back to them if i heard it again. It started making the same sound again, and i notice it happens more after hard braking, but i haven't gotten the time to take it to the dealership to check it out. I'll update you when I get around to it.

But its kind of like a moaning, whining, metal rubbing sound right?

yeah, that's about what it sounds likes. If I knew how to replicate it then I might go get it checked, but I doubt I ever could.

I think I've been able replicate what I think you're experiencing.

If I break to a stop while turning right until full lock (I do this often to back into my parking spot) I've been able to repeat it at least 5,6 times. Doesn't happen every day or enough for me to want to go the dealer, but enough for me to make note of it.
