New to this forum, but not to online forums so we'll put the n00b attacks to bed right away. (lol)
Just purchased my 2nd Mazda 6, this one being the '09 GT V6 and absolutely love it. My only issue with it so far, is this very weird noise under the hood that comes on and off intermittently and have done everything to try and figure out what it was. Take a trip back to the dealer as I wanted to rule out anything major, and the technician there tells me that this type of vibration I am hearing comes from the A/C unit whether it's on or off, and was and still is a common problem with the CX-9 line. I asked him if their is a fix for it, his response was no and that I would have to live with it. An easy thing to swallow if you paid next to nothing for your car, so I don't need to go into detail how much my GT V6 with every available option you can get without the NAV cost me.
Now while I agree this isn't a major problem, I'll admit it's freakin' annoying when you are driving and don't necessarily have the radio going as you can hear this pump or whatever it is kicking on and pulsating for a few minutes, only to have it shut off and start all over again.
Are their any other '09 Mazda 6 owners in the V6 family experiencing this same type of noise? If so, did your dealer offer a fix or were you told the same thing whereby you have to live with it and should just turn up the radio so you don't hear it?
