Beautiful car! Must have been quite an experience to drive a car worth about the same as some houses are these days.

I drove a 600hp Toyota Supra once. Although the Supra may have been more powerful, I'm sure it doesn't compare to the Vantage in terms of combining refinement, luxury, and performance into one mega-sexy vehicle.

I think the problem was that Aston Martin reffered to it as a "thoroughbred" and although clarkson liked it, he didnt think it gave the same thrill as a "real" thoroughbred such as a ferrari...


and like you said, he couldnt figure out what it was for...

I understand / see the differences in most cars. I just haven't been exposed to Astons that much to really notice the differences between the cars. I'm sure parked next to each other, I'd be able to tell which is which.
