We Got It

Delivered to us on Saturday by my friend of 30 years. (shocked)

We ended up buying from a dealership that was 600+ miles away to get one with a manual transmission (Gah! California SUCKS!!!) but it was fortunately not far from where my friend lives, and he's just gotten laid off so he offered to drive it down for us rather than ship it.

What a totally slick, well thought out and nicely executed little wagon! We love it!

With the manual transmission, the performance is quite a bit better than the "adequate" we thought the automatic was. It makes the right noises, goes well, stops well, has a ton of storage and seating capacity and just looks great. The stock stereo is quite good for what it is.

Couldn't be any happier. I give the car (2thumbs)

congrats! You will love it! I have only had mine for about 1 month now and I can't believe I didn't get one sooner!

Congrats! It definitely is a well thought out vehicle.

I bet your purchased turned the Mazda5 into a "sales winner" lol (inside joke)

Heh... like I said, I could be wrong. All the manufacturers are having trouble moving product right now. I'm just weird - weird like all of you... I like the functionality of it over all other considerations. It's nice that it is also good looking, zippy and relatively inexpensive, but if it wasn't, that wouldn't be a dealbreaker.
