well yea we are going to try to all have walkies like we did going down to the spool meet. but mike and i are talking about a FM modulator that lets one person play music and you can hear it through your car stereo.

we were all using those hand helds you can get at walmart kmart bestbuy and all i have cobra brands and ill lend my extra out again like i did last time.
if everyone has one itll be easier and safer. just one thing you cant leave it on and make everyone listen to your stereo !!!!

yeah, I know I really need one, but I don't have enough extra for a good one (passport 8500 ~$300), plus its a pain with all the trips into VA that I do.

Don't want to start the argument on detectors. If I had the money, It would be a hard choice. I really would like to get one of the custom installed ones that are completely hidden, but those are REAL expensive.

if u really wanted to hide it u could crack one open and remount the sensor and stuff on the dash and the display and everything elsewhere...lol but i would be nervous hackin up a $350 detector lol....

Why do we even need one? We'll be able to do 80-90mph up there, shouldn't do much more than that anyway! Heck the caravan down to the spool meet a bunch of us passed a VA trooper going 95+ and he didn't budge!
